Fast shipping. Installation of the spring was quick and simple. It took the factory trigger down from a 7+ pound pull to a crisp 5 pound pull so it was an improvement, but a 5 pound pull is still unacceptable. I've been doing this long enough to know that there can be variances in springs of the same brand and from the same company. For example, I love using Wolff springs in my 1911s but if you use enough of them you'll find variances. Also, in this case, it may not be just the spring but could ba another issue with this particular rifle. I've ordered the hunter spring from erniethegunsmith.com. If that doesn't resolve the issue its back to the drawing board. The reason for the 5 stars is MCARBO is a good outfit to deal with and I've had excellent results with some of their other products. I definetly recommend doing business with them.

Fast shipping , followed directions on you tube video installation took less than 10 min , my model 70 trigger went from a heavy unbearable trigger to a perfect trigger light enough for those difficult long or small target shots with very little creep and no over travel. I was gonna buy a expensive after market trigger until I saw their you tube video boy I'm glad I didn't spend the big $ for the after market trigger and bought the spring from these guys instead . A good trigger is a absolute necessity in a serious hunting rifle and this spring is the easiest answer anyone can do themselves without paying big $$ to a gunsmith to install a after market trigger

I purchased 2 springs, for a 270 win and a 280 rem. The dprings are the best money I spent. The trigger pull on the two rifles are nice and crisp and around 2lbs.

I purchased a trigger spring kit for a pre 2008 Win. Model 70. I watched the video on the replacement and it took all of about 10 mins. Reduced my trigger pull from 6 lbs down to 3. A great product and informational videos. Highly recommend M*Carbo products.

I had a good experience changing the trigger spring in my model 70 compact featherweight. I have the pre 2008 model so went with that spring. My experience is as follows: 1. Removed stock

2. Removed pin holding in trigger but do not let it go all the way out. 3. Leave pin inserted enough to keep bolt stop and bolt stop spring in place. I didn’t so spent a lot of time fumbling to put the bolt stop and spring back on. In my case with the bolt stop and spring out of the way it was easier to try different combinations with the 1/4 inch nuts on the trigger over-travel screw and MCarbo spring. With the two 1/4 nuts removed and with only the MCarbo spring itself I measured an average 1 pound 15 ounce trigger pull which was good for my use. Adding one 1/4 nut I measured an average trigger pull of 3 pounds 5 ounces so a little too high for range work. I did not lock-tite my over travel screw as turning it with a correct 1/4 inch box end proved very tough. This was my experience with a 2004 model 70 and yours may be different. I ended only tightening 1/4 of a turn from where it was. With a half turn drop fires were resulting, so I turned it back to a 1/4 turn. For this procedure do not use anything but the correct sized 1/4 wrench and preferably a closed or box end. In summary, it is a good spring and definitely an improvement over the stock spring. One thing I I want to add, the original trigger while excellent does have fractional movement side to side that some might mistake as overtravel, but it’s not and it just the slop in an open engineered trigger mechanism as opposed to a closed system like many of the after market systems. So in retrospect if your looking for an improvement in trigger pull without spending the sum of a new trigger m, this is the better way to go. I like it and highly recommend it for those who also want to keep their rifle as OEM as possible.

I ordered these trigger springs for my model 70 Winchester 300 and 338 after a buddy of mine had ordered them for his model 70 Winchester and watching the installation video. The guy on the video seemed a little too excited about the results of changing out the trigger springs. But after installing them on both of my guns it’s easy to see why. What a difference both guns trigger pull was just over 5 lbs now they are both just under 2 lbs each , can’t wait to hit the range in the spring.

Ordering was easy and painless , my order was tracked and arrived in just a few days as promised.

Very pleased with every aspect of my dealings and product from MCARBO.

Thank You
