4.89 stars, based on 114 reviews
KEL-TEC KSG Aluminum Trigger The major advantage to the KEL TEC KSG Trigger Replacement is that it won’t flex like the plastic trigger and has zero pre-travel after adjustment! Another advantage is the wider smooth blade on the trigger with no hump...

What a great upgrade for the KelTec KSG, does exactly as described. Bought both the trigger spring kit and new trigger. Pre-Travel is non existent. Installation is a little tedious if you've never taken your shotgun apart, but the installation video was a huge help. Definitely wrth far than I paid for.

Great trigger, very smooth 3.5 lbs pull. I love the set screw to eliminate the trigger travel. I highly recommend this trigger, it is a quality product. However, keep your hand on the action bar spring at all times while reassembling the lower. It will go the distance.

Trigger is installed 👍!

It was easy until I tried to put the two half pieces together than the troubles began!

The pin that holds the hammer springs towards the front did not lined up with the other half of the plastic pistol grip!

It took me over 1:30 hours to finally get it !

I been building guns for many years and persistence and patience pays at the end!

Don’t force it keep working to figure out what’s holding or binding and try again until everything lines up !

Very happy with trigger and got it down to 3.5 lb average!!

Awesome Trigger upgrade for the Kel Tec KSG

Absolutely incredible difference in trigger pull after installing this in my Kel Tec KSG. Trigger is everything it's marketed as and takes all the sloppy play out in addition to adding a totally light weight smooth pull. Nice upgrade.

First off, the trigger is great! I got it tuned exactly the way I wanted, it feels amazing to use, and I love how simple the install was. However, the instructions were a bit confusing. Mainly regarding how the sear sat relative to the hammer's spring assembly. The photos were a bit grainy in some panels, but otherwise I was pretty enthused with the install. Awesome part!!!

Awesome Trigger.

I did this in addition to the trigger spring kit. It is not a difficult install, just take your time and watch the video. The only thing that was a slight issue is I had a Talon grip sticker installed, and that had to be removed to separate the grip. Just keep that in mind.

Awsome! Makes a trigger what a trigger should be

I have a suggestion that "you-all" might want to ad to the "Trigger Job" Video, which by the way quits before you put the action bar spring is put back in and the other half of the system's frame is put together.

When taking the frame apart the and the frame halves are separated slightly, take a piece of heavy polyester thread, stiff string, or preferably fishing line; and run down along the action bar through the spring and out the bottom of the frame and wrap around behind the frame half and tie the two ends of the string together snugly. This will retain the spring and keep it from flying away.

Then when reassembling; tie the action bar spring back in the same manner and put the frame halves back together. Cut the string at the frame's lower mating edges and pull it up and out towards the top of the action bar.

This is a very simple and necessary step to insure that spring does not get wings. I know from experience, because on reassembly, before I could get the frame halves together my spring developed wings!

My wife and I spent over an hour looking for the spring and I finally put the frame back together, because I was working on our table in our motorhome (We live in a motorhome) and she wanted to make supper. After supper, I continued the search and finally found the spring on the other side of the motorhome, on the counter top, behind the kitchen sink; Praise The Lord!

It was after I lost the spring, that The Lord gave me the idea of the spring string! I tried it and it works! I guess He was giving me another lesson in patience.

I thought I would share the idea with you and maybe even suggest that you include about a foot of stiff fishing line, or real heavy polyester thread, string in the trigger/spring kit. It's up to "you-all" now.

I also drilled a small hole in the trigger guard, lining up with the sear adjustment screw, of the new M Carbo Target trigger, to do a final tweak, which I have done to many of my guns. Anyway, I got it all together and it works Great. Verrrrrryyyy Satisfied!!!!!

AND REMEMBER: "It is better to have more Guns and Ammo than you need; than not to have the guns and ammo you need!" Others can pick up the gun and continue the fight when you are gone!

Beautiful fitment & quality

Alongside the spring kit this trigger is a game changer compared to the ploymer oem one. Well worth the upgrade for the KSG.

This new trigger plus the spring kit really makes a huge improvement, literally cut the trigger pull weight in half and the aluminum trigger gives a smooth feel without the plastic mould lines of before.

best damn upgrade!!! I removed the W Engineering trigger because it would not reset properly. I applied grease like in your video and cleaned up the sear contact points with 1500 grit by hand. After install was complete it worked like a charm. Great product and great price. Thank you guys. Can’t wait to take it to the range.

This is the contact point of flesh to machine. If this interaction doesn’t feel good any other advancement is null. This trigger provides a smooth crisp interface with your KSG. It far supersedes the factory plastic trigger in feel and function. I have made some purely cosmetic upgrades to my KSG, but this one, though attractive, is all about function. No slop, no rough edges, no wasted travel, just crisp-Boom.
