I bought Kimber Micro 9 ESV for the look at Bass Pro Shop (Cabela’s). They do not allow manipulations with handguns inside the store and keep triggers locked. At home, I discovered that the trigger SUCKED BIG – hard to pull, inconsistent and producing strange scratching metallic sound. I immediately went online to search for a solution and found M-Carbo’s spring kit. Shipping was fast and installation easy. It made a noticeable difference! I was very pleased with the outcome – a smoother and lighter trigger mechanism! At the same time, I must pay due credit to Kimber for an excellent barrel and precise zeroing. Expect an even better accuracy with the M-Carbo’s trigger enhancement! I was focused on the trigger pull, but now I intend to check the handgun out at the range using different ammunition to make sure the recoil spring works well.
Very pleased how it turned out. Install took about 10 min and couldn't wait to get to a range to try it out. Trigger feel was a noticeable change for the better. Only issue I had were a few failures I believe to be caused by cheap ammo where the pin hit the primer and failed to ignite. Other that that it was a great day.gonna try it with some decent ammo next weekend if I can find any lol.
Received the Kimber Micro 9 Spring Kit much faster than expected. Reviewed the installation video and performed the install myself. Headed to the range and fired 6 mags of various 9mm rounds, with zero malfunctions and a trigger that is very noticibly lighter and smooth as silk. I could pat myself on the back but, thank you M CARBO for a fabulous upgrade.
Great price and extremely easy to install. Video is stop on and leaves no doubt in the process to install. Improved performance.
Had my doubts about weather this was going to work out. Glad I took the chance. Love the reduced trigger pull and break. Super easy to install, thanks to the video. I did have to play with the sear a little as it was not part of the video, but got it figured out relatively fast. Just have to look up 1911 sears on YouTube. Very happy with the product.
Amazing trigger upgrade for Micro 9. Very easy install with great online video to walk you through every step. Trigger feels incredible now, reliable, works perfect. Can't recommend enough for any Micro 9 owner. Well done.
I really like my Kimber Micro 9 but with this kit i now love it. What a difference it has made
When doing a before/after 10-pull test using a Lyman gauge, my Micro .380 went from an average of 6 lbs-11 oz to 3 lbs-6 oz. That makes it a whole new gun... BTW, when watching the installation video at 13:20 it is clear that the sear spring comes out by itself, thus there should be no need to take either the sear nor the ejector out in order to install the new spring... That's what I tried and it worked perfectly well. just gently position the new spring and once it is fitted in the little groove, the hammer spring assembly will hold everything in place. IMHO this is much easier than removing and re-installing parts that only provide a little bit more clearance for the installation of the sear spring.
I just finished installing the Kimber Micro 380 spring kit for my new Covert model. The installation video was a BIG Big help!! Thank-you M*Carbo for a great product!! It made pulling the trigger a lot easier for me!!
Positive difference in trigger pull that you can really feel. I am used to target triggers and the stock Kimber Micro 9 trigger caused me to pull right and down waiting for the fire. These new springs make me feel at home with my Kimber. The Kimber Micro 9 is a great firearm; and with these springs the trigger pull issue is fixed.
After my kit arrived I promptly dove into installing it in my Micro 9. The Micro9 is my EDC and although I shoot it on a regular basis the factory trigger pull does affect my accuracy. I advise reviewing the installation video a few times before attempting to install the kit. The one thing I would advise is having a magnetic part holder to contain the take offs as they are easy to misplace. The kit was installed without any problems. A trip to my property range proved to be everything I anticipated. The trigger pull is fantastic and averaged 3.7 pounds pull. If you have a Micro 9 this addition is a must have.
Love this product. Dropped it in my Kimber Micro 9 Eclipse and the difference is huge. Took a good CCW firearm and made me love it. Solid product, price and shipping was super fast.
I was sent a trigger spring kit, it made zero difference in trigger pull (I am using a professional Wheeler trigger pull weight tester). Emailed customer service, no response (for 2 weeks), called customer service, spoke to a customer service guy who admitted that their supplier of the trigger spring kits has been having issues with performance and that some of the kits are not changing the trigger pull weight at all - told me about coatings, and spring shape and other issues they're having. Despite this, he admitted also that they continue to sell the trigger spring kits with no quality control or testing to ensure that they actually do what they say they do. He instructed me to remove the spring kit and bend the flat spring - I declined (as not only am I not trained to manipulate trigger springs, but this would have voided the warranty according to their website). I asked to return for a replacement (one that actually worked) and he emailed me a shipping label. I returned the defective spring kit and received the replacement, installed the replacement, and no difference again - still a 6-7 lbs trigger pull each time consistently. This is incredible! This is a terrible way to earn customer trust and repeat business. I will never buy from MCarbo again and that is a shame.
Installed the Kimber Micro 9 trigger kit following the MCARBO video, it took about 30 minutes. Very easy, parts fit perfectly, works great.
Very happy. Hated my Kimber Micro 9. Now my full time carry gun and love it.
