The mcarbo parts went in very easy. However I've spent days trying to get the ejector and sear back in - still working on it.
Installed on Kimber micro 9 that had a stock trigger pull of 12 lbs. The spring kit reduced the pull to 8 lbs. Better but not 4-6 lbs. like I had hoped.
Took the pull from 7 lbs down to 4 1/2
I finally got the spring set installed. The two coil springs are simple for a 1911 guy. The sear spring was less easy. I finally held mouth just right and the sear pin slid in. Your video was very helpful. My original trigger pull averaged 7lb 5.5oz. The new average is 5lb 10oz and after dry firing about 30 times it dropped another 4oz. I think it will drop more. The pull is much smoother too. I'm happy.
Much improvement over the stock assembly. Instructional video was pretty clear. Had to repeat a couple parts to ensure I got what they were saying but by and large a pretty east upgrade trigger pull is much nicer now.
This 3-piece Kimber Micro 9 spring kit, and a custom replacement firing pin which I made, turned my expensive Kimber Micro 9 into a functional firearm with a reasonably moderate trigger pull and adequately deep primer indentation. Out of the box, it was anything but that. I congratulate Mcarbo's Chris Nelson on what he is doing to improve a long list of firearms, which should have come from the factory with the features he enables.
Trigger is a lot better .Lighter pull, better groups with my shots. Took a while to get one of the pins in, it was worth the effort. I like my pistol even more thanks to your kit.
This kit definitely made the hammer easier to pull back, but did not lighten the trigger pull much one one of my Micro 9's. Results might depend on when you bought your gun. My older Micro 9 had a 6.5 lb trigger pull out of box. The Mcarbo spring kit left this pull essentially unchanged. My newer Micro 9 came from factory with a 9.5 lb pull; as expected, the spring kit reduced this to 6.5 lbs. I ended up cutting down both sear springs with a dremel, reducing the pull on both Micro 9's to 4.5 lbs. I did not modify the hammer or firing pin springs.
After returning my first purchase, due to some problems, the quick turnaround with a new kit solved the situation.. My Kimber shot flawlessly with the new kit installed.
I wasn't happy at all with the stock trigger. Ordered the spring kit and now my Micro 9 is a pleasure to shoot. The video is well done and easy to follow. Made the installation a lot easier.

my micro 9 stainless was made in 2020 . love the gun but the pull was really heavy. i didn't shoot it much and didn't carry it at all. this kit reduced trigger pull iby at least half if not a little more and made such an improvement that i'm carrying my micro 9 everyday now. Thank you!

I purchased a new Wheeler digital pull gauge and mounted the gun securely and did over 30 pulls in 10 pull groups. I test my new Micro 9mm before shooting. 9 to 10 lb pull. I went to the range and shot about 200 rounds. Retested no change 9 to 10 lb pull. My first set of springs didn't change the pull at all. My reading were very consistent in the mid 9 lb range. I did this on both the stock setup and Mcarbo springs. I called Mcarbo and they sent me another set to try. This set worked perfectly as described. 5 to 6 lb pull. Chris stayed in contact with me all along the way. They went above and beyond in customer service. This was on a $15 spring set. That says a lot about their commitment to doing there best!
