Solid trigger kit. Easy to install at home. It is a wonderful smooth trigger, light and crisp. Definitely worth it.
My micro 9 came with a pretty stiff trigger pull so when i say this kit for under $25 I figured I'd give it a try and it did everything it promised. I don't have a trigger pull guage so I can't give before or after readings bit it definitely feels much lighter. Installation was easy as I've had 1911s apart before but they also have a step by step video to get you through it if you haven't.

Installed these springs Trigger pretty consistent @ 5# - haven’t shot yet will let u know how that goes
Took about 20 minutes to install the kit, installation video was excellent. Brought trigger weight from roughly 7 lbs down to 3.5 pounds. I say roughly because I’m using a name brand spring trigger scale, unsure how accurate it truly is. Either way, I can feel the difference and it is awesome,
I’m really happy with this upgrade. Before I ordered this kit, I watched the installation video and wasn’t too concerned about the install until it was time it replace the sear spring. That much disassembly is out of my comfort zone. But, I decided that if I had too much difficulty with the install, I’d have MCARBO do the installation and went ahead ordered the kit. The first two spring replacements were very straight forward and when it came time for the sear spring replacement, i followed along with the video, pausing it until I had it disassembled enough to replace the sear spring. Reassembly was a bit tricky, but with a little patience, everything went back together perfectly. The original trigger pull was 7lbs, 1 oz. After the kit installation, trigger pull is 3lbs, 14oz. This product did everything it said it would do and the installation video was excellent! Thanks for a great product and install video.
This kit is a great addition to your Kimber Micro 9. The installation was easy and quick. Trigger pull is a least half of original.
The parts are well made and should last a long time. Spring tension was reduced on the trigger. The trigger feels more crisp. The video in the product description was easy to follow and accurate for this installation.
Trigger pull was around 5.5# before I installed the kit. After the kit a pull average was 3.1# and much smoother than stock. I love the new sear spring.
I purchased this as my micro 9 trigger was off the charts hard to pull. After installing this kit, the gun would not function, the slide could barely be pulled back over the trigger. After troubleshooting I finally replaced the mcarbo trigger spring with the original and that allowed the gun to cycle correctly. The kit did nothing that I could notice ( all that was left installed was the firing pin spring and the sear spring). The mcarbo hammer spring from the kit almost did. To want to come out of the hole where it was inserted. The original was very loose in the hole, so I imagine the kit spring could not compress when the hammer was pulled back, causing the entire assembly, from the spring up to the trigger to force the slide into not functioning properly. I have contacted the vendor 2 times via email without any response. I could not personally recommend this kit. I ended up filing on the sear and the hammer where they meet. This worked incredibly well and it is actually fun to shoot now. Do not buy this kit
Ordered a kit for my micro 9 and micro380. The micro 9 kit took an hour and one half, but the micro 380 took less than thirty minutes after i got my feet wet. The micro 9 original trigger seemed scratchy but now it is smooth and feels great. The micro 380 is now the same as the micro 9 and both seem easier to rack. This was money well spent and it seems that i now have differunt pistols.
fast shipping after order was placed, received several emails updating shipping and tracking and the installation video was spot on. spring kit did make a big difference in a lighter trigger pull.
Bought my Micro 9, got to the range and experienced the worst trigger ever. It maxed my Wheeler gauge at over 8lbs. HORRIBE!! Nearly decided to dump the Kimber, and decided to search for a solution and found this three piece kit with install video and ordered it. Three days later I got it, watched the video and installed. WOW!!! Dropped my pull down to 5.5 lbs and very smooth. It was the video that sold me and I'm glad I didn't sell my gun.
