Fantastic results by installing this kit. Watch out for safety spring as you take the gun down. Mcarbo hit a home run with this kit. I have two Micro 9 and both have kits. 👍👍

Watched the video. Bought the kit. Installed the springs. Took me about 40 minutes, just guessing. WOW. the difference is unmistakable. This is great and worth twice the price. Can't say enough about about this great company and it's products.

This kit makes major improvements. The hammer is much easier to manipulate and greatly improves trigger pull. It turned a nice weapon into a fantastic feeling one in less than half an hour. Watch the great video as it walks you through the complete process beginning to end.

Watched the detailed video in its entirety once. Then watched again as I went through the installation of the kit, pausing the video as I went along. I believe this is the best and easiest way to do the install.

All in all, smoothed out my trigger pull and reduced it down to an average of 4.1 lbs. out of 5 single-action pulls. And a very clean and glassy break. Before the kit, trigger pull was 7.3 lbs. with the stock Kimber springs.

Then, I had a technical problem that Patrick took care of quickly, and with follow-up. If every business had this kind of prompt customer service the world would be a better place. Just keep doing what you're doing guys. Great experience.

The trigger kit installation went quite well and the pull seems very smooth and about half the factory pull. Have yet to try at the range(rain every day). I will update after putting some rounds in. So far, I’m very pleased.

I purchased a kit for my Kimber 380 and Kimber 9. Had no problems understanding the install instructions. However, I spent hours trying to get the Ejector and Sear to line up correctly to insert the pin back in.

Great product Before install Hammer was hard to pull back, trigger was very stiff and difficult to pull back and the slide was stiff. After everything loosened up, everything is smooth as silk and easy to operate. Aim improved drastically, no longer have to yak on the trigger . Easy to install with video watch. Great product. Have already spread the word.

Having recently purchased 2 Kimber Micro 9 handguns, I also purchased 2 M Carbo spring kits, each consisting of a lighter weight hammer spring, firing pin spring and main spring. Both handguns came from the box with trigger pulls in excess of 10 lbs.

Upon ordering said spring kits iI experienced prompt delivery and the ordered materials were as described. Installation was simple, as described and a reduction of trigger pull was experienced, however, the trigger pull was reduced only to 7.5 lbs. Further detail was required to reduce said trigger pull to and acceptable 4 to 4.5 lb range.

Overall my experience with M Carbo was good. It should be noted, however, that obviously some of the guns require further polishing and fitting.

I have an arthritic trigger finger and went to the Kimber Micro 9 with the single action trigger because I could hardly pull a Glock 3 lb trigger. Still with the Kimber factory trigger I found it difficult to pull. After installing your spring kit I

can get a nice controlled trigger squeeze. Because of my finger difficulty I had to modify the sear installation by moving and blocking the sear spring with a punch, insert the sear and remove the punch. Real easy. Thanks for a great product.

It Works

I bought a brand new micro 9 however it had a real stiff trigger in it trigger pull was around 8 lbs even after cleaning and oiling everything up. I bought this kit based on reviews to see if I could get a similar trigger as to what my other Kimber pro carry and LW Custom has. After installing this kit it made a world of difference nice and crip break and around 4-5lb pull right in line with my other Kimbers. Warning though that sear/disconnect is a pain to get back in had to use two pins for alignment. I lightly oiled all internal parts as well

IT WORKS!

I first wish to thank Dave Mann with MCarbo Tech Support for his valuable input during our earlier telephone conversation regarding my Kimber Micro .380 problem.

I received the three new Kimber Micro .380 springs from MCarbo on 4-17-20 and installed them the same day. The trigger pull, as the springs were received, was at 4 lbs. 8 oz. I put a .100" bend in the sear spring as a 4 1/2# trigger was not acceptable to me. The Kimber Micro .380 trigger pull is (about) 3 lbs. 8 oz. - as it will pick up 3 lbs. 4 oz. but not 3 1/2 pounds. The trigger pull now has no creep and is crisp and now is the same as my "Bullseye" .45 ACP's.

To fully appreciate the action of my Kimber Micro, I did detail strip and deburred all parts requiring same - and there were quite a few. The way this Kimber left manufacturing is not too impressive - but most owners probably will never detail strip it but they will not be able to appreciate the smooth function it is capable of. My little Kimber Micro .380 is now comparable to the Colt Government .45 ACP that custom Gunsmith Jim Clark personally built for me.

It's a whole new gun.

Installed the spring kit in my Micro 9 and it's so much easier to control. The lighter pull translates to much improved accuracy and follow-up shot placement. This, and lightning fast shipping are why I'll be back as a customer. Thanks for the great tutorial videos, too; lots of great information!

After waiting 6 months or so for the new design, I finally received the new sear spring, firing pin spring and hammer spring. While waiting for the M*Carbo to ship I had worked my "trigger" over myself. When I bought my 365 it came home with a fairly smooth, but heavy (7.5#) pull. Overall the trigger was not bad except the extremely heavy trigger. I just could not keep sights aligned while squeezing trigger. After working it over several times I had my gun down to 3.5-4.0# pull and went back and added some pull (tweaked sear spring) to bring it back to 4.5-5# pull. It was now extremely smooth, broke like glass. Once, I received the new M*Carbo I put it in the gun. The trigger pull was now a bit rough and 5.5-5.7#.

It is now my opinion that if you just want a quick, easy way to improve the factory trigger to a decent trigger, this "spring kit" will do it. However, if you are are able (I am not a gunsmith by far) and willing to do a little work yourself, you can get a better trigger than obtainable by merely dropping in this M*Carbo kit.
