Great kit and awesome results. Easy do it yourself instructional video. Highly recommended upgrade for the Kimber Micro 9
In my opinion the M*Carbo Micro 9 spring kit is a must have. It is easy to install and greatly improves the trigger feel and function.
Absolutely awesome, installed my self using the web video, and the print out instruction, original trigger pull was 6 lbs plus, reduced it to 3 lb 5 oz major improvement, i can now hit consistently, and solved shooting the lower left issue.would recommend to anyone that has a micro nine to do this upgrade.
Spring kit was a quick and install. I am very pleased with the results and if someone wants to lighten their trigger pull I would highly recommend .
Great kit ,reduced my trigger pull from 7 ib 2 oz. down to 4 lb installation was easy while reviewing the install video.
Spring kit was installed along with a new trigger. Before installing the new parts, the wife's Micro had a 9lb 14oz pull, Average of 10 pulls. Afterwards, trigger pull is 5lb 3oz, 10 pull average. Kit produced better than the advertised 40% reduction. Kit was easy to install, spent less than 30 mins to install trigger and springs.
I have already reviewed this item but thought I would add that I found it easier to install the sear before the extractor in the re-assemby.
Amazing !! I can’t begin to tell you the before and after difference, I was literally shocked. I now love my Kimber.
This kit is a definite for all Kimber Micro 9's. The trigger pull is much better now. I would highly recommend watching the YouTube installation video before you start and then again while you do the install. Everything went together pretty easy. It does take a little patience only because the parts are small and I have fat fingers.
Installed the M-Carbo trigger kit into fairly new Kimber Micro 9 9mm; installation took about 30 minutes but that was me taking my time. Trigger pull was actually off the scale of my manual Wheeler gauge ( 8+lbs) but with M-Carbo trigger kit it is now a nice 5lb trigger!
After shooting a few rounds through a new kimber micro 9, I was disappointed in trigger pull. M Carbo had the solution. Unbelievable difference in the trigger pull and consistency. I also ordered the spring kit for a Sig P238.. another must have... The instructional video made it esay to do it yourself.. Great job.. Chris..
I bought this kit for my micro 9 because the heavy factory trigger seems to require a lot of concentration and control to prevent pulling when firing. This kit really seems to have corrected that! I have not been to the range yet since installing but my dry fire tests really seem to hold my aim mark and the trigger feels awesome now. I'm pretty confident that when I get to the range I will be as impressed as I'm expecting. This seems to be a great product and if you're on the fence at all about trying it, don't be because does do what it claims. Install was a little challenging but they have a good YouTube video to help you. I would suggest you not attempt to install this yourself if you're mechanically challenge but if you can do basic tasks then you will likely be okay with the videos help.
I watched the MCARBO video once and ordered the Kimber Micro Trigger kit. It was super easy to install and works perfectly.
I just received and installed my spring kit , it went exactly like the instruction video said . The kit made a very noticeable improvement in the trigger pull . I can honestly recommend this product ! I can also say with all honesty that I received first rate service from the M-Carbo company ! I will be doing more business with this company . Highly recommend !
Fast shipping, great video on installation. Product received in perfect condition and installed with no problems. Pull went from almost 7 to 3.6 average. Thank you Mcarbo, you've got my business when ever you can help me.
Quality of the parts is very good visually. Can't check them to specs because I don't have any specs. So all parts fit as required and worked together so far. The other part of quality is the function over a period of time. Install was easy and didn't require any fitting so they probably fell into the acceptable dimensional tolerances. the gun itself is a basic 1944 type so if you're familiar with that it's easy, 25 minutes for me even though I shot a spring across my shop. Results were good but not as great as I would expect. Factory springs gave me trigger pulls of 6lb. 3.0oz., 7lb. 0.5oz, 7lb. 5.5oz., 7lb., 12.6oz., 7lb. 5.6oz. and 6lb. 14.8oz. The average was 7lb. 1.7oz. The low pull was 6lb. 3.0oz, high pull was 7lb. 12.60oz and variance was 1lb. 9.6oz which is quite large. M-Carbo springs gave me pulls of 5lb. 9.6oz., 5lb. 13.8oz., 5lb. 12.5oz., 6lb. 1.6oz., 5lb 13.4oz. and 5lb. 11.7oz. The average was 5lb. 13.4oz. The low pull was 5lb. 9.6oz., high pull was 6lb. 1.6oz. and the variance was 0lb. 8.0oz. (1/2 pound) which I thought was excellent for 3" barrel carry gun and says the quality is good. Overall I am satisfied with the results I got with the change. I would have liked a little lower trigger pull, close to a full pound lower would have been nice. The new the trigger pull is very smooth and has a very low variance in the weight making it very smooth. As I shoot it more I will see how it wears in and if the pull reduces at all. after 500 rounds or so if the pull is still a little high I will polish some parts down and see about reducing the pull a little more but for a carry gun this probably tolerable. Overall I would say this modification is mandatory for this pistol as the factory is unacceptable for accuracy for your average shooter.
