It went in relatively easy. Dropped the trigger pull from around 6lbs to 3 lbs.
Easy install made my gun worthless.This kit doesnt work.I had to go back to all factory parts.Too many light primer strikes FTF on 5 different cartridges,Winchester,Federal,Magtech,Herters,Sig sauer and Blazer brass.
Get it put in this weekend can’t wait to see the difference got to help in grouping
I have 2 Kimber Micro 9 pistols. Like everyone else I was really disappointed in the trigger pull. Unlike my KImber Ultra Carry II 1911 with a straight pull 3.5 to 4 pound trigger pull, the Micro 9 has a hinged trigger that is around 8 or 9 pounds, VERY heavy. I bought two of the M*Carbo Spring kits and tried to install them. The Firing pin spring and the hammer spring were easy and took just a few minutes, following their excellent video instruction. The new Sear Spring ... is another matter entirely. It requires 3 hands, tiny fingers and a stand of some kind to hold the frame securely. Lining up and reinserting the sear, ejector and pin, between the hammer bar and the sear spring is, to be polite. a "challenge". After 2 weeks of trying every which way, I gave up and sent it to M*Carbo for installation, at an additional cost and a 6 to 8 week delay. IMNSHO, that Sear Spring install is just not a DIY project for some people. Great quality products, difficult installation on some.
Easy to purchase, fast shipping. This was an easy install thanks to their very clear video. Works as they state and I also got a nice crisp 3lb trigger pull. Will buy from these guys again!
A very nice set indeed; the instructions were very well done and accurate. The set reduced the trigger pull by about half - still leaving a solid trigger wall. The sear spring was less than a joy to install as are all sear springs on any 1911 based firearms. I found it easier to install the sear with a deep grip on the sear with needle nose pliers with the pistol laying on its side rather than trying to stand it upright on the magazine well. All in all a relatively easy assembly even with the fiddle sear and sear spring. Well done Brothers!
It was a pleasure to deal with M*Carbo, customer service and shipping are 1st rate. The spring set did exactly as advertised and the video was very good, the reason I only gave it four stars is because I had a tough time getting the sear in and lined up, it took many tries to get it in correctly, I have big hands that block all sight of the parts when assembling so for me it had to be done in near braille conditions, that said I eventually got it and love the trigger.
The Kimber Micro 9 feels so good, but the trigger pull was far from enjoyable. This spring replacement set was easy to install, video was great help, and trigger breaks with 50% less pull. Not unsafe, just right for experienced shooters. Money well spent.
I was able to put in the Kimber Micro 9 3 spring kit in under an hour. I also put in the Galloway 22lb flat recoil spring and trigger return spring. M-Carbo rules I got 3.2 lb and no FTL after 60 115 grain rounds. I put the M-Carbo flat trigger and other stuff on my Sig P365 X Macro Comp and the same results. Great products, great install videos and fast shipping. IF YOU HAVE A KIMBER MICRO 9 YOU HAVE TO GET THE M-CARBO SPRING UPGRADE KIT.....
My Micro 9 SS trigger measured 6lb. 14 oz. when new. After approximately 800 rounds down range, the trigger was still more than 6 lbs. Installed the M*CARBO kit in about 30 minutes, trigger is now consistently around 4 lb. 2 oz. - a 40% reduction. The sear spring made most of the difference! I highly recommend this kit for your Micro 9.

Just finished installing my upgrade while following the 2023 YouTube video All went very well two tips when installing the silver piece make sure it is all the way against the breach wall. This helps with the ejector install which is tricky lining up for the dowel After all you a done I am extremely pleased with the trigger pull now Don’t wait for your warranty to run out to install this upgrade. You will enjoy this great gun much more Frank R
