Without the video, I would not have attempted the installation. The video instruction was so well done that I thought I could attempt it myself. THANK YOU... the parts are in and works well using snap caps, so next week off to the live range
Bought the older kit with the hammer and trigger spring only and it worked ok. Bought the new kit with the sear spring included and the sear spring made a huge difference. Now the trigger on my micro 9 is more up to the standards of a 1911 trigger. The how to video is a huge help. Great upgrade!
The Mcarbo trigger parts worked great in my Kimber. Install was easy with installation video.
I'm glad I found this kit. The factory trigger pull was definitely too heavy. The installation video was excellent and spot on. Trigger feels much better, now it's time to try it at the range.

Hello, I purchased this kit for my Micro 9 because mine was insanely tight causing me to pull off target with just about every shot. It was immensely frustrating and took me to a place where I just didn't even want to shoot this gun anymore. When I initially found this kit I was skeptical regarding whether or not it would help me solve my problem but after a few minutes watching the video on their website I decided it was well worth the money to give this a shot, so I did. Best purchase I've made in a while. Quality components and like I said the step by step instructional video was awesome. I had it installed in roughly 20 minutes and it works perfectly. Not kidding at all, in fact it works better than I had hoped it would. The trigger tension is significantly reduced and is now perfect. Also prior to installing the kit it took absolute brute force to engage or disengage the safety, but now it too is working like it should have all along. I absolutely LOVE my gun again and can honestly say I owe it to MCARBO because prior to installing the kit I didn't even want to pick it up. Now I just think about when I can get to the range and go shooting. Additionally, I'm planning to also buy another kit for my wife's Micro 380. I have high hopes it does for her what it did for me and my gun. Truth be told she doesn't have any ambition whatsoever to go shooting with her gun and I'm really hoping installing this kit on her gun will make her want to use it again. I really miss going shooting with her. Since getting robbed last year these are the only guns we have now so getting them both working will hopefully get us back on the range and having some fun shooting together. No difference in the trigger pull weight after gunsmith installed the kit.
This was my first ever gunsmithing attempt, but Chris Nelson's excellent video gave me confidence. The parts arrived promptly after my order and the installation went very smoothly. Yes, the sear was initially a challenge for old fingers, but I switched from needlenose pliers to locking forceps for better grip and the sear slipped right in place. Thanks for a great product. You turned a good pistol into my best pistol.

this trigger pull kit WORKS..... I bought a new Kimber Micro 9 with Laser and all on it. pulled the trigger a few times at the gun store and didn't think to much about it till i got it out on the range getting it on target and the the trigger was so hard i was torquing the pistol to get the trigger pulled. so i was probably going to trade it off till i found your web site. i read about your spring kit and watched the video so i ordered one. the spring kit was perfect and the video was excellent. went from a 7.8 trigger pull to a 3.7. big difference. i think i will keep it now. excellent product and excellent instructions. Started with a new micro 9, the gunsmith said the trigger pull was 8 lbs, put in the kit while watching the vid...getting the extractor and sear back in was alot harder then shown, took about an hour. Brought it back to the gunsmith to test functionality, he said all was good and the new trigger pull was 5 1/2lbs; so no complaints here anything in that direction is good.
