Very good product. Reduced pull significantly. Video is good but needs to be updated to include installation of the sear spring. I presume that is a recent addition to the kit. I figured it out. The firing pin and hammer springs alone didn't do much. The sear spring is what made the real difference.
I installed this kit in a new micro 9 that had a 9 lb pull out of the box. After putting 500 rods down range with NO malfunctions the pull is a crisp 4 lbs. A very nice upgrade!
Got an honest 2lb reduction. Quite happy considering the trigger pull started at 7.8 lbs.
I was not sure about this at first, but I thought I'd give it a try, I hated the way the trigger was from the factory. I did 10 trigger pulls and averaged 6 9.9lbs then I put in the new spring, (I found this very easy to do watching the video) After the spring change I got an average of 4 8.0lbs, I still want it lighter, but this is a lot better, Now to take it out and try shooting it.
Communication and speed of shipping was excellent. The firing pin spring installed without a hitch and I was surprised to find the stock Kimber spring badly deformed. I only have 100 rds through the gun. The hammer spring was a bit out of spec. Try as I might I could not insert either the dimpled strut plug nor the pointed lower standoff into one end of the spring. The last coil was quite a bit smaller in diameter than the rest of the spring. I needed to remover about 3/4 of the last spring coil in order to get it to work. Unfortunately I did NOT test trigger pull weight BEFORE installing the Carbo kit. After the install the pull was fairly consistent and averaged 6.1# after 10 pulls.
I purchased a trigger spring kit for my wife’s micro 9, she was having accuracy issues because of the stiff trigger pull. If you have the knowledge this install is easy, if you do not then you should seek a gunsmith. I was holding off on a review until I had a chance to fire it. What a difference! My wife has resolved her pull issues and is back on target (combination of user and mechanical error previously) and is very happy with the results. I would recommend this product, I also bought one for my M&P Shield, waiting to install.
A MUST HAVE UPGRADE... It made that stiff gritty trigger smooth as silk. The install video Chris did gave me the confidence to do this install. Awesome product and great video. Thanks M*CARBO
I have a Kimber micro 9 with 7.5 lb. trigger pull. I ordered MCARBO spring kit an installed it in 30 min. My trigger pull went from 7.5 lb. to 2 lb. what a big difference. I hope someday MCARBO will make an ambidextrous safty for the Kimber micro 9.
The difference of the trigger pull was noticeable before and after. I am a 105 lb female so a 35% reduction was huge. It tightened up my groups considerably. The hammer spring was a bit tricky to install but not horrible. I had to use another companies recoil spring which helped as well. Get with it guys get a recoil spring included and you'll have it all.

The installation of the M-Carbo trigger kit has made a big difference in the accuracy of my Kimber Micro 9. The improvement in the trigger pull is very noticeable, I have no way to actually measure the difference, but it is a big improvement. The improvement in reliability is very important for a carry weapon. The video instructions were clear and concise. My only problem was when I came to reinstalling the seer, that was frustrating and took multiple try's. Over all I had good experience with the kit and am pleased with the result. I would definitely recommend this product as it has removed the frustration of owning and using the Kimber Micro 9.
This trigger kit for my Kimber Micro 9mm is very good or better. My Kimber now has a much smoother trigger pull, consistent feel, the trigger break is consistent. Using the kit has reduced the trigger pull from just over 10 lbs down to 5lbs.
The trigger pull was about 6.5 lbs. prior to installation. After installation 5-5.25 lbs., however I have not yet shot the gun. The kit absolutely smooths out the trigger. I had hopes that the pull would be closer to 4-4.25 lbs. The components are good quality. Installation not that easy.
Trigger kit was easy to install after watching video. Trigger is wayyyy smooth now !!!
The Micro 9 trigger kit is the 2nd from MCARBO, got the Sig P238 too. Both reduced trigger pull by half. I expect to see further improvements as I use it more. DJB
This spring kit is advertised to improve trigger pull by 40% and no doubt it did. However, it can’t fix the pulls. I’ll keep working on that with my amazing, lightened trigger. Thank you M Carbo team, y’all rock it!!
