Got this for my wife's Kimber Micro 380cal. It was a little tough to install but it didn't reduce the trigger pull as expected. Still had 4 1/2 lbs to 5 lbs average after install. Was hoping for at least 3 1/2 -4lbs or less. I ran 200rds thinking it may lighten up but it stayed the same. Maybe I received a 9mm kit instead of a 380 that was packaged wrong but I am very disappointed.

Not as good as advertised

My kit took my pull from 7 1/2# to 5 1/2#. It's an improvement for sure, but not as advertised.

The instructions were excellent, and the procedure not too difficult. Installing the sear spring is a task that wouldn't be difficult if you had 3 hands. It took a couple of attempts but I finally got it.

not easy

Following your video makes it very possible to do the upgrade but getting the gun back together was bit tough. Had to order a new safety spring and plunger as the original flew away not to be found.

The end result however was great.

Not for the timid

Used this kit on my micro 9 to drop my trigger pull from just over 7 lbs down to 5..

I’m thinking that it will drop more after everything is seated and broken in..

It’s a simple drop in kit but you have got to be specially careful when pulling the sear spring out NOT to knock the trigger bar off the sear and ejector. If you do? Well it’s not fun getting it back..

For me this was a long awaited kit to put in my micro and it was worth every penny..

PLEASE!!! If your not comfortable or have little to no knowledge of the operations of this gun do not attempt!! Send it in or have a gunner do it..

ALWAYS!! After re-assembly dry fire and function test your weapon!!

Next? Go to the range for a live fire function test. Starting with 1 round and then 2 and so forth..

Not the miracle on Ice but still good.

Using a Wheeler mechanical trigger pull gauge my Micro 9 registered 7.5 # to 8# before and a hair over 5# after installation. The video was very good.I put my Laptop on the bench and would pause or go back as I needed.I will post again after a visit to the range. It was well worth the money spent.

Noticeable Difference

Received the kit today. It took about 10 minutes to install. Pretty easy and straight forward process. Follow the installation video and it's a snap. Since I don't have the tester to see the reduction of the trigger pull, I cannot say how much it was reduced. But there is a noticeable physical difference in that it definitely takes less pressure to complete the trigger pull. Worth the money!

Now it’s a Kimber!

This kit works exactly as advertised. The installation video provides everything you need to know. I’m recommending this kit with every Micro-9 I sell at the gun counter.

I had some frustrating issues when installing. The video (Kimber Micro9) was really helpful but my install didn't go nearly as smoothly as the video. The spring installs were easy, it kind of went down hill after that. I haven't tested it at the range yet but the trigger does seem lighter.

I was going to order a kit for my Kahr CM9, now I'm not sure if I will.

I picked this up over Christmas and installed the Hammer Spring

and the Firing Pin Spring. They made a big change but I recently installed the Hammer Spring and it really does complete the whole package into a much smoother, more consistent, lighter trigger. Pull, break and reset are all smooth. Great product!

Outstanding!

Just installed the kit. No big deal at all. The stupid safety detent shot out on me, and the search was on. Without that, it would have been approximately 30 minutes to get everything done. I went from a average of 6lbs 2.6oz, down to 2lbs 5.5oz.. very smooth and a much better feel. However, I may put the factory sear spring back in. I like my carry guns to be around 3.5-4lbs. No complaints a about the kit though. Thanks for this video also. I'm not sure it would have been so simple of a job without the video.

Outstanding!!!!!!

I'm not a gunsmith so I took my time and double checked everything I did. The springs fit like the stock parts. It took about 30 minutes to complete and I am really happy with the results. The trigger is smoother and the pull is down to about 3.75 lbs. I love it !
