The installation video is very helpful.

My husband and I both have hand problems and were able to install it all ourselves.

I would highly recommend this for anyone that has a problem pulling the factory trigger spring.

I purchased this as my micro 9 trigger was off the charts hard to pull. After installing this kit, the gun would not function, the slide could barely be pulled back over the trigger. After troubleshooting I finally replaced the mcarbo trigger spring with the original and that allowed the gun to cycle correctly. The kit did nothing that I could notice ( all that was left installed was the firing pin spring and the sear spring). The mcarbo hammer spring from the kit almost did. To want to come out of the hole where it was inserted. The original was very loose in the hole, so I imagine the kit spring could not compress when the hammer was pulled back, causing the entire assembly, from the spring up to the trigger to force the slide into not functioning properly.

I have contacted the vendor 2 times via email without any response. I could not personally recommend this kit.

I ended up filing on the sear and the hammer where they meet. This worked incredibly well and it is actually fun to shoot now. Do not buy this kit

Installation went fine. The video was very helpful. Only problem was my gun had hogue grips and they had to come off to remove spring housing. Did not realize grips hold safety in place. Lost the safety spring for a short time. So took a little longer to install.

I have two micro 9 raptors, changed out the springs, lost the safety detent spring and plunger my fault. Removed it from my other pistol. Finished it up and you can not tell which one has the springs put in it. Very disappointed, and now I’m down one because of the lost spring. Wasted time and money!

I was disappointed with my Kimber Micro 9 trigger pull. It was rough and hard to pull so much that it would pull me off target. I bought the upgrade kit and installed it. I also polished the sear somewhat and now with a 3.5 lb pull, the gun is a pleasure to shoot. I highly recommend this upgrade

Installed the Kimber Micro 9 Trigger spring kit and maybe got a 1 lb reduction in trigger pull. Tried 3 times to contact MCarbo via phone to see if I was missing something in the install. Although the phone message promises to get back in 24-48 hours, I never received a call back. Product not working is one thing but lousy customer service - no excuse in my book.

Two thumbs up!!

Ordered the kit 10 minutes before ordering three extra mags from Kimber. Received the kit in four days along with many appreciated tracking updates. Less than 45 minutes to install and made me feel like a master gunsmith. Reduced trigger pull from 7 to 3.8lbs. The price is great why am I paying $160 for an Apex trigger for my M&Ps when this only costs $25? Someone isn’t taking advantage of their customers (Mcarbo for the short bus riders). Although Perhaps I belong in the short bus after buying 3 Apex triggers. Just for the record I’m still waiting for my mags or info regarding them from Kimber (Day 11). Thanks for a great experience and product.

Start out with the fact this household has 3 micro 9s with the old trigger kit. (hammer and firing pin springs) Excellent.

I purchased this kit thinking, "this is going to further improve the trigger?"

I figured, lets give it a try.

The feel is not that good and the primer strike is so light failure to fire is about 90%. Put the same rounds in another mirco 9 with the old Mcarbo kit and magic.

Gee, did I do it right? According to to the video yes. I have done at lease 50 trigger jobs in a multitude of 1911s, Ruger, S&W as well as long guns.

Bring the old kit back as an option, I have a couple more people with Micros who will need triggers.

Very nice and best instructional video

Cost effective kit to improve on an already great pistol. The trigger feel on my Micro 9 improved drastically with this kit without going into "feather" trigger mode for non-carry mode. Another great product from MCarbo. Thanks.

Very Nice trigger

Installation was easy thanks to a truly excellent instructional video provided on YouTube.

The new trigger pull is crisp as can be and promises to improve accuracy. Just so much better than the stock spring setup.

The only part that absolutely sucked during installation was repinning the sear, but that's always been a pain for me with 1911 style pistols. Just be sure to have a good set of precision needle nose pliers or some really heavy duty tweezers.

Pro-tip for the sear: The trigger bar and sear spring will hold the sear in place once you wedge the sear in. From there, you can swap from the needle noses to a micro screwdriver. Looking in from the right side of the frame, you should be able to see the hold in the sear. Using your micro, gently push the sear up and toward the hammer, putting pressure on the retention pin. It might take a couple of tries, but eventually you'll get the angle right with the micro and the pin will find the sear hole. After that, everything's cake.
