Except for replacing the sear, a very easy installation with immediate, positive results. Quite Impressed with the product and will consider it for other pistols.
The instructional video was great and convinced me to purchase the spring set. Before installing the trigger pull was 7.2 lbs. (average of three) after about 3.7 (average of three). Looking forward to the stronger recoil spring.
I had read about the M*Carbo kit on several Internet forums, so as soon as the 1-year warranty on my Kimber was up I ordered. Installing the firing pin and hammer springs was a cinch - but getting the seer back in place was a challenge with my fat fingers! Still, the installation video took the guesswork out of the process. The results were great, about half the trigger-pull strength and improved control. REMEMBER to save the original springs, you may need to reinstall them if you ever send your pistol in for work.
Definitely improved my groupings, made it much more accurate, and has been 100% reliable for 250 rounds. Smooth, crisp, and lighter. What else could you ask for, very reasonably priced and easy to install.
Very easy to install, cut the trigger pull in half, two hundred rounds so far and no problems at all, quick response and shipping. Will order again.
Terrible factory trigger pull. Felt like 10 lb, but probably wasn't quite that bad. After installing the conversion kit the trigger pull is a DREAM. Wow. What an improvement! So glad I found this. Love the gun so much more than before. Install was pretty easy. Highly recommend. Thanks so much you guys!
I installed the Kimber Micro 9 spring set and I’m extremely happy with the results. Watching the YouTube video made it quick and easy, probably less than an hour. Received the parts sooner than expected. Good job mcarbo.
Took about an hour...I have very big hands needed my wives help with the Sear spring...Video is a huge help...EXTREMELY happy!
Really great product. As a 1911 shooter I like the ergonomics of the pistol esp. with 8 round mag but the trigger sucked. Very hard not to pull sights off target. Installed the spring kit with sear. Pretty easy if you watch the video. Big, big, difference. Weight feels in line with my 1911's - 3.5 - 4 lbs. Great reset. Not as crisp as a 1911 but what an improvement. Thanks to you guys for making my EDC awesome.
I took my Kimber Micro .380 to the range and thought I was going to raise a blister from the heavy trigger pull. I searched around and found the MCARBO Trigger Spring Kit and ordered it right away. Following the very detailed video, the replacement went very well. What a great service! Don't hesitate to try this fix! No more blisters!! Ha!
Took about 40 minutes to upgrade using their video installation and some patience. Trigger is not just lighter and a better reset, bit smoother and a noticeable wall in the travel now. Great upgrade you will not be disappointed.
My Micro 9 tested at 7.5 with a Wheeler Mechanical tester. After installation of the spring kit it tested at 5.2. I tested again after firing 40 rounds and it came in at 4.6. The Pro's Good price, great Installation Video, Much improved accuracy Con's. I did have one misfire out of 40 rounds. Will keep an eye on the lighter Firing Pin spring. Photo shows lighter spring strike compared to a factory Glock 19.
Kimber Micro 9 out of box had very heavy trigger pull. I don’t have trigger pull gage but estimate it was over 10 lbs. Spring kit easily installed by following video. Substantially reduced trigger pull. Note: Watch safety spring/plunger assembly when taking down & reassembling pistol. It can easily get away and is a pain to find if you don’t contain it.
