I was skeptical about the amount of improvement I would see from this spring kit because the factory trigger was breaking at 3 lbs. To say was was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. The install was easy and straight forward. The video from MCARBO helped to get me started. I think it took less that 20 minutes. The improvement was very noticeable. Trigger weight dropped down to 1.5 lbs. from 3 lbs. with zero creep. I have yet to shoot any groups with the new trigger springs installed but I was already shooting tight groups at a 100 yds. I hope to be stacking rounds now.
The kit once installed works as described, the issue I ran into is that the small plastic piece supplied to aid in reassembly is actually too large to fit into the holes where it was designed to be used. I was able to find an alternative item that worked, but this should not have been necessary.
Great kit, took my old Encore trigger from 7lbs to just over 1lb. My rifle was a pre prohibited so the trigger was terrible, but no more! Awesome job I will be spreading the word!
My encore misfired 3 times when i had a nice WV buck within 50 yards. I realized that the hammer spring probably wasn't hitting the firing pin hard enough so when i got home i started looking for a spring kit. I found a good video on u-tube about replacing the springs in an encore rifle with springs from M*CARBO. This was a very helpful video and i would have had a difficult time without it.
Great quality, very pleased with this kit. I watched the instructional video multiple times and had no problems. I am pleased with the difference it made with my trigger pull. I'm looking forward to trying it on the shooting range. Thanks for a great product...
just installed the kit into mt tc encore pro hunter, I now have a very nice 2# trigger. Love the kit and the video. Very easy process.
This kit did exactly as advertised to do. Reduced my trigger pull by 2 1/2 pounds, Clean and crisp.
Parts were a direct replacement and installation was easy with the how to video. Trigger was light and crisp!

That alone made me purchase this product from MCarbo...the fact that it reduced my trigger pull from over 5lbs to just under 2lbs is an added bonus.
I installed the spring kit in my encore and the trigger spring was so light you could not touch it with a gloved finger without discharging the hammer. A butt stroke to the ground also discharged the hammer. Email customer service twice and got no response. I basically gave the company a donation. Shop elsewhere.
What a outstanding product! With the how to video and the tool included, it was way easier to install than I thought. Really really fast shipping! My trigger is so much more crisp than with the stock springs. Love it!! Highly recommended...
This is a must have for your TC encore! Great video instructional to help in the install. It reduced my trigger pull from 4.5lbs to 1.5lbs. I will be ordering another for my dads encore.
Install spring set on my TC Encore with .223 barrel. Quality VB product, easy install, customer service great to work with. Trigger is now phenomenal!
This spring kit is a huge upgrade to the factory springs with a very small investment. The installation video is great and at least for me was necessary to do the job. The trigger is now very light. I dont have a scale but I would be afraid to hunt with anything lighter. The original trigger I could barely get to break in a single breath but now there is no anticipating it, it just goes smooth as soon as you begin putting pressure on it.
Shipping was fast. Got the springs way before I got my new firing pin from T/C. I watched the M.CARBO installation video and figured that I could do it. I could and I did......but it wasn't quite as easy as the video. To be fair, I'm 70 yrs old with arthritic hands and wrists. 10 years ago this install would have been a snap. Trigger pull weight went from (average) 4 lbs. with factory springs, to 1lb 2oz. with M.CARBO springs. The trigger just feels good! I am well pleased with this product and highly recommend it. If you don't think you can do the install yourself, the Folks at M.CARBO will do it for you at a very reasonable cost. Just contact them. Hope this helps.
