Probably the most complex kit I have done from MCARBO but worth every minute. I am talking less than 2 lbs trigger pull, clean and crisp break, just an unbelievable kit. It is a bit harder to install than other kits, but that is not MCARBO's fault and more so the fault of the design of Thompson Center's triggers. The video was so informative and assisted me when I ran into trouble. Overall I couldn't ask for anything better!
In a rush to prep for pronghorn muzzleloader season, I pulled out this rifle I have not used in a decade. I quickly realized that, even after I cleaned and lubed everything, I had to slam my barrel action shut in order for me to be able to pull the hammer back. I searched online and found you guys and ordered this immediately before I headed out. Knowing I had an issue, and thinking I’d slammed my barrel back hard enough, my issue still cost me a shot on opening morning - thus far my only opportunity. Returned home last night and got this installed and it works great! The installation video is fantastic. Now I just hope to get back out and have another opportunity. Thank you.
This is an amazing improvement for the money. My encore stock trigger was 4 lbs and after watching detailed video and installing in about 20 minutes, my triggers is now at 1.5lbs. Great product, fast shipping too.
I followed the video and installed this kit in my rifle in about 30 minutes. The old trigger pull was just under 4 lbs and not terrible. I ordered this kit because I have fired hundreds of rounds with both the 209-50 muzzleloader barrel and the Katadin 45-70 barrel and felt the new spring kit would ensure many more years of service. After installing this kit the trigger pull was reduced to just under 2 lbs. I am extremely satisfied with this kit and highly recommend it. Do yourself a favor and freshen up your rifle and improve the trigger at the same time. Well worth the investment !!
Just received my TC spring kit today. I can tinker with guns a Limburger with you easy to understand You Tube Video installation of all springs even trigger an sear spring was very easy. Dropped trigger pull to 2.4 lbs from 5.8. Can’t wait to get it to the range
