Super quick skipping to Alaska! Took a trigger that took two men to pull down to a super smooth maybe 2lb pull. It's the best money you can spend to upgrade your gun. Installation was less than 10 minutes. Will definitely do business with MCARBO again!
fast shipping easy to install much better trigger now
I love my marlin 17 hmr bolt action but i wasnt too happy with how heavy the trigger was, upon researching i came across MCARBO and decided to give it a try and im glad i did, my rifle trigger is crisp and precise now. Shipping was fast and withing 4 days after ordering it i had it install in my rifle and i live in canada. Will i buy more products from mcarbo, absolutely.
Applied trigger return spring to Marlin 25N purchased new in 1990. Initial trigger weight with factory spring was 5.25 to 5.5 lbs. Trigger weight after install install of MCCarbo spring is 4 lbs.
Received product as stated. They kept me informed of shipping all the way until it was received. Not many companies do this. MCarbo is committed to providing excellent service
ou for my order!! The new trigger in my marlin 17hmr is absolutely amazing! Closed up my groups with this simple mod. Now tagging 17hmr brass cases @ 100yrds with ease and winning money off my buddies. Thank you again!
I ordered this for my Marlin 917 and got it in a couple days. Easy install and made my trigger feel much better. I would highly recommend this spring for anyone wanting to improve their accuracy from their 917 HMR!
I've had my Marlin 917v for quite a few years and as sometimes happens it ended up in the back of the safe and forgotten about. Last week I pulled it out, took it to the range and remembered how much fun it was to shoot. Like most things I own I just can't help but tinker with stuff so I started researching the trigger on the 917v. I found some forums and was seriously contemplating the pen spring trick. Thankfully I came across the Mcarbo site and watched the video. They bring up an excellent point; why skimp out on something as integral to the safe operation of your firearm as the trigger assembly by installing a cheaply made spring designed to be thrown away. Seriously, who can't afford $12 and some change for a quality spring designed specifically for your application? I'm glad I did. I installed it yesterday, tried it today and immediately noticed a difference in my grouping. Anyone wanting to improve on the 917v shouldn't think twice about this spring. Well worth the money!
My Marlin model 982 has the T-900 fire control group & was okay at just over 3lbs and after installing this spring it now is at 1.5lbs witch is better than I had hoped for so I highly recommend these too family and friends. Hope this helps someone.
The kit is an outstanding upgrade; went from a 5+ pound pull to a consistent 3.5 pound pull. Great product!
I have an older Marlin Model 25. I like others contemplated the ball point pen spring to help with the hard trigger pull. It didn’t feel right to put in a “throw away” spring. The M-Carbo spring not only reduced the trigger pull on my rifle but also gives me the confidence of a quality part. Highly recommended.
I was guilty of using the papermate pen spring for a few practice sessions. I found that it did have a lighter pull but much less consistent. Now with this Mcarbo spring the pull is just as light and much more consistent, especially with the PTFE lubricant.
The original trigger always felt pointlessly heavy and gritty. A bit of lithium grease and this spring made a world of difference. Best 8$ I've spent in a long time.
The customer service was great in getting the spring shipped quickly. Apparently there is a factory " old style trigger spring" : Trigger Spring, Old Style Product #: 428930A Part Key: 53 I found it listed on www.gunpartscorp.com. It has narrower diameter coils than this spring. My trigger uses the narrow spring and the recess in the trigger to hold the spring in place is too small in diameter for this spring. You can't really see the spring until you disassemble the trigger so if you have an older Model 25 you might want to take the trigger apart and check it first. 5 stars for customer service and communication. Down 1 star because I'm disappointed it didn't fit.
Easiest installation ever, works great - my accuracy improved! Went from 4.5 to 1.5 pull.
Hey many thanks for the spring kit, have been using a pen spring for a while, this springs slot in easy and provide a crisp break. Highly recommend to anyone using th T900 trigger system and want something better
