I installed 3 of these kits. 2 Marlin MN, 1 Marlin N. All accurate rifles, but trigger pull was very heavy.. On all 3 rifled, trigger pull was noticeably improved, with a nice break. Much more enjoyable to shoot now. Also, customer service is great.
These replaced the factory trigger springs in my Marlin 883 and 882. Easy to install. What a vast improvement over the factory feel, went from 6-7lb pull to 3 1/2- 3lb pull much smoother consistent pull too. A great upgrade for the price. Thanks M Carbo
I struggled for years with the exorbitant heavy trigger pull of the stock trigger in my old Marlin 881 which no doubt effected the accuracy. I had performed the clicker ink pen spring mod which helped but was leery of how safe the pen spring mod was so I quit procrastinating and ordered the Mcarbo trigger spring. Words can not express the day and night difference this spring upgrade made in the reduction of the trigger pull. I do not have a scale to report the difference but it is now smooth and light. This spring upgrade has transformed my old Marlin into the tack driver it should have always been.
I had no idea I could improve that trigger until I saw MCarbo on you tube. It was super inexpensive, arrived quickly, and the install support video was awesome. I’ll be back!
I love these spring kits. Easy to install and make a big difference. I've installed them in a Marlin 25MN, 982VS, 882, and 882VS. It lowered the trigger pulls by at least 2 pounds each. I can't wait to go shoot them. I have 2 more to order for my other 2 Marlin rimfire bolt guns and that'll be all of them. I love my Marlin bolt guns but the triggers were a little lacking to say the least. Now they should shoot better than they did with less effort holding on target trying overcome 4 and 5 lb triggers. The stock trigger pull on my 17vs was just under 7lbs and replacing the spring got it down to just under 5lbs. It's lipstick on a pig, but it definitely is an improvement!
I installed the trigger in my marlin 25M , I didn't use a trigger gauge but I can tell it's a little lighter

A snap to install and seems to help the heavy pull I had. I do not have device to measure pull.
Installation of this trigger spring took me less than 10 minutes. Trigger pressure was reduced from 4 + lbs. to 2 pounds. Great spring kit.
Bought this spring for my Marlin 882. Chris was very helpful since the 882 was not listed but it works perfectly. The old trigger was horrible and now - crisp and much lighter. Thanks !!!

The trigger in my 917 was pretty stiff at 4.5 oz. After changing the spring,(super quick and easy), the weight registered 2.01 oz. What a difference! I will be changing more trigger springs in the future. Order, you won't be disappointed!
