Unbelievable how much difference in trigger pull. Easiest spring change ever, thank you for awesome videos. I will admit this was the 5th or 6th spring kit from MCarbo and I am a believer! USPS lost my order, MCarbo emailed me and sent another before I could email them and say WTF! Thanks Brothers!
I installed one of these kits on a friend's 917. Before installation his trigger was 4.5-4.75 lbs, after installation it was a consistent 3.0 lbs. Thanks M*CARBO another great product along with great customer service and professional installation videos.
Trigger pull went from 5.75# to 3.1 #. A very easy ten minute install!!! I could not be happier!!!
Evidently the trigger had been replaced before I acquired the rifle so the spring would not work! Now just work on what I have.
For the price, this is an excellent solution to the overly stiff factory trigger spring. The spring I received is a high quality replacement for the original, and reduced the perceived trigger pull by over half. (I don't have a trigger pull gauge to measure actual amount of reduction, but it was significant). Watch the video to see how to perform the swap. The only thing the video does not show well, is the position of the safety lever when reinstalling the pin that holds the trigger in place. Be mindful not to allow the safety lever spring to pop out of it's anchor hole, and be particularly careful not to damage it if it does. I brought this to the attention of the M*CARBO crew; hopefully they will update the video to better show how to do this. Overall, a great product at a reasonable price, with great customer support!

Installed the new MCARBO spring in a few minutes thanks to the instructional video. 4lb pull to a 2lb pull is perfect and I’m grouping better. Squirrels beware!
This spring took about 10 minutes to install. Great improvement in stock trigger. Well worth the investment. Shot dime groups at 25 yards.
Ordered the 925 spring for my Marlin 25N. Had a heavy 4 + pull before the spring change. Very easy to replace in the 25N. After a few minutes to install the trigger now pulls at 2.25. Night and day difference. Cheap enough and quite a step up from using a pen spring so I am glad I went this route. Great experience and wouldn't hesitate with future orders.
Brought the marlin 925 spring based on reviews and the youtube videos from mcarbo, what an exellent upgrade! Trigger pull is spot on and my father likes it so much he has kept the rifle with him! Will be doing business again. Cheers Mitchell

Starting trigger pull average 3lb 10oz With M*Carbo spring average 2lb 9oz So the question. Is the M*Carbo 917/925 spring worth the money for one pound? A. Yes, supporting an awesome company like M*Carbo, definitely. B. Yes, I put a $300 trigger in my AR15 so what's a sub $20 spring (with shipping) in my marlin.
I wanted to improve my trigger pull weight to 2lb and lucky enough the factory trigger was not bad 2.5-3 lbs using a Wheeler trigger pull gauge. I ordered the M917v/925 trigger spring and within 5 minutes spring was installed with a bit of minor lubrication on a few parts and now the trigger breaks constant at 2 lbs which is nice... Squirrels best look out in the fall....
I replaced the trigger return spring on a Marlin 25MN with this spring (Marlin 917V / Marlin 925 Trigger Spring Kit). The overall length of the original and new springs were the same. The new spring was visibly lighter wire and compressed easier. The new spring appeared slightly larger in diameter but fit in the housing fine. Installation was pretty straight forward. I did find a better picture of the M25 trigger on the internet as the 917/925 trigger housing is different. The measured pull (Wheeler trigger pull gauge) went from just over 5.5# to 3.5#. The new spring reliability returns the trigger to the forward position. Well worth the time.
Just received my marlin model 917 VS trigger kit. Wow what a quality spring you have made. I watched the instructions video, an the teardown an install only took five mints with cleaning the bolt an applying the synthetic grease u sale. Trigger pull weight from the factory was set at 5 lb 8 oz it is now 1 lb 5.3 ounces what an incredible Improvement.
