Smooths out the double action for more control over the gun.
Bought my SCCY 2 years ago, loved the weapon but was never satisfied with the trigger system. Installing the Mcarbo trigger upgrade was a struggle as i had a hard time punching out the pins. After installing the upgrade I can not express how smooth and light the trigger is. MCARBO is the man, you can not go wrong..."Blue Lives Matter".
I installed this kit on a SCCY CPX2 RD. I loved the feel of the pistol but the trigger had a long hard pull. I felt this kept me from being consistent. After installing the trigger kit, the pull was much easier, and makes for a much more comfortable shooting experience. Love this gun now! Thank you
Installed this kit on my SCCY CPX-2 and the trigger pull weight actually increased 1/4 lb. I reached out for their advice two times but got no response. Needless to say I can't recommend this product!
I have a SCCY CPX 2 purchased as a range shooter, not a carry gun. Thought it would be nice to have a lighter trigger pull and ordered the spring kit. Installed it, not too much of a problem, and eagerly took it to the range. Started out with standard 115gr ammo. Immediate stovepipes, would not cycle, double strikes needed to fire, worked three mags through it with the same results. Loaded 147gr (didn't have 124) and it shot fine. Absolutely no problems with the entire box. Since most of my ammo is 115gr, I'll be changing back to original springs and living with it.
Great kit. Reduced trigger pull by half. Instructions are easy to follow and results are impressive.
I'm not an authority on DOA pistols and their trigger pull, but I will say this spring kit definitely improved that action on the SCCY CPX-2 Gen3 after installing. Much better than the stock pull. Would recommend to those on the fence thinking about purchasing the kit. I installed it while watching their video. On the Gen 3 there were one or two different instances that did not follow the exact video but common sense would allow you to continue the installation.
Took a lot longer for me. This had nothing to do with the trigger kit or the company. I had one heck of a time getting the two pins out of the body of the gun. Once I finally got those out it was literally a 15 minute job. Overall 5 stars on the change in the trigger pull! Thank you for saving me from having to get a new gun!
I was apprehensive at first about doing this myself. I watched the YouTube video by Mcarbo installing the trigger spring upgrades then went back and followed along with the video. It was a lot easier than I had anticipated. In the end my trigger pull is around 4 lbs. now and I am very pleased with the results. I would highly recommend anyone that has a Sccy Cpx1 or 2 to install this upgrade from Mcarbo, you will not reget it.
Installed this with easy by watching the installation video. Reduced trigger pull by half. And that is good.

This kit arrived promptly and the online video was step by step accurate. It was because of this video that I decided to take the step. One of the best training videos I have used. Installation was quick and easy. The video showed the CPX1/2. I have the CPX3. There was a very minor difference but if you did not understand that, you should not be attempting this mod. (This could be a running mfg change for all lines) The difference in TP is amazing. Confidence is much higher.
Bought the SCCY CP2 kit. Watched the install video multiple time. Pausing at each section. Getting the pin out the first time took longer the break down, install and reassemble. That I blame on SCCY. Will order more kits for my other guns
This is something that almost anyone handy with tools can accomplish in short order. Brought my trigger pull down to around 5# which is a tremendous improvement over the factory. Thanks to M-Carbo for making it available.
Overall I am exceptionally happy with this upgrade. It was easy to install as it only took me 30 minutes start to finish. It made it a considerably more accurate shooter and quite frankly more enjoyable to shoot. Would highly recommended to anyone!
Got the kit 2 weeks ago but was on a trip. Installed today after watching the video. Took about an hour. Very pleased with the result.
