Got the spring kit on time. Put it in the gun and cut the trigger pull weight by half. Was exactly what I ordered. It was well described and I love the fact that they have an insulation video to walk you through it. Will absolutely purchase from this place again
Ordered this kit for my CPX2 and WOW.. love the difference it made in the trigger pull. The step by step video from M Carbo made the installation extremely simple and fast
Got this as a last ditch effort to like this gun. It made a complete difference in the feel. Can’t wait to shoot it more.

Fairly easy to install and the MCARBO installation video was very helpful. The trigger on my CPX2-red dot is much smoother now, and the trigger pull was reduced to about 4.5 lbs.
Easy to follow instructions. I was able to successfully change all the parts from an 8lbs to 4 lbs. Going to the range to test it soon. Only negative was the shipping, took longer than expected, I live 1 hour from where it was shipped, I wish I could have just picked it up. I have installed the spring kit in my CPX-2. Very easy to follow instructions on You tube. I have always liked the pistol, but the trigger was always a negative to it. After the spring installation and dry firing it, I think it will be much better. I will take it to the range tomorrow when they open.

Installed in my daughter in-laws CPX-2 took it from a 8lb 4oz pull down to a nice 3lb 13oz pull ,she is so impressed with the pull and improved accuracy that she has decided to add it as one of her edc go to.While I was in the process I polished the feed ramp.
It was a fairly simple project. Haven't gone to the range to test it yet. I will say, it has inspired me to look into smithing.
I installed the CPX-2 spring kit after watching the video a couple of times and things went smoothly! Very nice result as well! The trigger pull is now 50% lighter making the pistol much more controllable!
I am not even an amateur gunsmith, guns are my hobby not a lifestyle or occupation. However I did get the M Carbo kit for my SCCY CPX2. I did not have all of the proper tools, but I did manage to change the hammer spring and the trigger return spring, without changing the firing pin spring. I thought maybe changing the firing pin spring would be kind of sketchy because it might affect the safety of the firing pin being held away from the primer should the gun be dropped. This proved ill-advised, because out of a box of 50 cartridges I had Two failures to fire, due to light primer hits. Having replaced the other two springs did result in a much lighter trigger pull, But evidently the HammerFall was much too light to overcome the standard firing pin spring. That’s two failures to fire out of 50 rounds. That’s a 4% failure rate. 4% more than I wanted. Both cartridges went off on the second strike. So definitely light strikes first time around, and I can only attribute it to the fact that I did not install the lighter firing pin spring. Otherwise this kit did everything for my gun that it was supposed to do, and is of excellent quality. When I get the proper punches I will again try to reinstall the entire kit, and then take the gun to the gun range for testing. I cannot advise just changing the springs in your EDC, Without subsequent functioning testing. It will bite you in the butt. I can recommend this kit to other SCCY Owners, but do a better job of installing the kit than I did.
The spring kit is reasonably priced and easy to install. The video is excellent and covers the process understandably and step by step. After the installation the trigger would not reset reliably. I cleaned and added some lube to the trigger bar and made sure there were no burrs on the bar or chassis to no avail. It still wouldn't reset reliably. I ended up going back to the factory trigger spring to solve the problem. The trigger pull is much improved and the pistol functions perfectly now.
I forgot to mention in my previous review that the video only covers the CPX-2. Some additional description could be added for the CPX-1. The safety levers have to be loosened (using a #8 Torx) to get everything installed.
The spring kit was a nice modification to my CPX-2. Followed the installation video and only paused it twice to complete a step. Love the lighter trigger feel. Thanks
I bought this to reduce the heavy trigger pull on my 9mm SCCY CPX-2. This kit has dropped the trigger pull by at least half and kept the pull length the same which I prefer with no mechanical safety. I no longer have the pull to the right due to fighting with the 8lbs pull and I would absolutely would recommend this kit to anyone else that owns this firearm. Installation was easy and made even easier with the step-by-step instructional video that was linked in an email after purchase. Installation time was about 45 minutes even with breaking a punch while trying to remove the rear frame pin that was stuck.
