Just installed this kit in my wife's gun...what a difference! She loves the smoother, lighter pull. Highly recommend it
Fast ship and great product. Easy install and made a huge difference! Accuracy is greatly Improved and gun is just fun to shoot. Ran 100 rounds thru it at the range and had no failures or problems of any kind.
I gave a four star rating because my results were nothing near 3 - 4 lbs. pull as stated. I am at 7 lb. That said, the trigger is a little lighter, smoother and resets every time perfectly. I am not sorry I purchased the kit. The kit was perfect and I watched the video many times before starting the install and continuously while installing the kit. Great job! The actual install was time consuming and challenging. You need the right tools. SCCY has had a problem in the past with frame pins walking out. I'd say that problem has been corrected. I have done many trigger group upgrades but this was my most difficult. I really had to beat on the pins to get them started. I bent two cheap punches in the process. Once started I continued beating with less, but forceful hammering. It was nothing like the video. Once extracted I found that one of the pins was broken and lost about 1/8 inch of length. I don't know if I did that or it was broken from the factory. I found the broken piece on the cleaning mat after the pin was out. Sent an email to SCCY and had a new set in 2 days. Excellent customer service. Installing the new pin was incredibly difficult. With heavy intense hammering I got the pin in except for the last 1/8 inch. It would not go further. What to do? As a last resort I used a steel target as the base I was hammering on and it finally went in. I hope I never have to take it apart again. I installed the trigger upgrade and a Laserlyte laser the same day. After zeroing in the laser I can state I am a much better shot with this combination. Smooth trigger and pin point accuracy. Overall I am happy with the MCARBO upgrade.

As everyone who has the SCCY CPX-2 knows, the trigger has a lot to be desired. Purchased the trigger spring kit from MCarbo hoping to make it tolerable. I'll cut to the chase first...the change in the trigger feel is incredible. It is a smoother and lighter trigger feel. I don't have a trigger gauge, but it is at least half the weight. Now for the experience with the product and service. I had a defective trigger spring in the kit, and it took nothing more than an email to get one sent to me immediately. Chris and customer service were exceptionally responsive. As for installation, Chris' videos are fantastic. He is very descriptive, clear, and shows you exactly what he is doing with excellent camera angles. I have bought from MCarbo before this purchase, and will continue to buy these excellent products from a company that really does take pride in their products and cares about the customer.
I had your spring kit installed by a certified gunsmith. It cost approximately $40 which I thought was a fair price. The next day I went to the indoor range I am a member at and there was a contest 10 rounds 3 yards or further. I shot @ 6 yards. One shot went through the very center of the zero on the target the other nine shots were three MOA. I got a call two days later and they said I was one of the winners. The trigger is fantastic in comparison to the original. Very shootable makes the firearm much more enjoyable to utilize.
i thought the kit was great, but after a sum dry firing the spring broke.

Great product from an even greater company. Night and day difference on the trigger pull on my cpx2. Simple install with help from the video. I’m so impressed with new trigger pull that I’m going to purchase another cpx2 just to install this kit on another pistol. Quick,easy and hassle free ordering process. The kit was a little harder to install on a new never fired before gun. Suggest shooting gun first to loosen things up a bit. Simple to do just pins etc a little tighter than on instructional videos. I would guess it lowered trigger pull by 1/3 the weight compared to before. Wife with rheumatoid still can not pull trigger though. I thought before spring swap it was ok and feels great now but Im a strong man not a disabled woman. I have not actually shot this gun yet, need to and update review if my opinion changes. To cut to the point it does lower the trigger pull and most people could do the swap.
This spring kit improved the trigger feel of the SCCY CPX2. The stock long heavy trigger pull , while smooth, was a little much after a day at range. I came upon M-Carbo while looking for forums and reviews of the SCCY CPX2 and thought I would give this kit a try. I didn't have the benefit of a trigger gauge so I cannot be sure of the actual change but my calibrated finger indicates that the trigger pull was reduced in half. The installation video was clearly descriptive and very easy to follow. I recommend this kit to any SCCY owner or potential owner.
I installed this trigger spring kit along with a short stroke trigger kit from another kit. Although the trigger spring kit did not make a 4lb. pull it did make a massive improvement on the overall function. I would recommend using the kit to make a cheap gun work better.
Bought the kit for my dad's sccy cpx2, was easy for him to install and he is very happy with the lighter trigger pull
The trigger pull it lighter I haven’t fired it yet I just had it done today but I just wish there was a way to adjust the trigger reset. Other then that it feels great now I just have to take it to the range and test it but as I said the only thing I’m not happy with is the trigger reset
