Put the kit in my CPX2 yesterday, took about 20 minutes with the video as my guide. Incredible difference! Who knew this $170 pistol was capable of sub 2" groups at 25 feet! Made this good ccw choice GREAT!

All in all got the desired reduction in trigger pull. A little tedious, took me an hour for the first kit. Once I got the feel for it, second kit installed in 20 minutes. Can’t wait to test it on the range. I use Sellier & Beloit range ammo. We’ll see how it goes.
Short and straight. I shot a dead on bulls eye with the other 4 of 5 shots so close at 15 yards that they prove it. More than 50% reduced tension throughout the entire length of the pull. Placing rounds where you intend to without being distracted by SCCY's heavy trigger pull is a relief and reality.
I love my SCCY cpx-2 but really wanted to change the heavy trigger pull. After watching the installation video and reading other reviews about this spring kit I decided to give it a try. My order shipped quickly along with follow up emails from mcarbo. Installing this kit went smoothly. Every step of the video was easy to follow. On the range the results were better than I was hoping for. The lighter trigger allowed me to shoot tighter groups with quicker follow up shots. Does this product work as advised? Yes! Is it worth purchasing? It's definitely worth it! This kit is a must have upgrade if you want your SCCY cpx-2 to truly perform on a level that will impress you.
Easy install with video help. Do not have a trigger pull gauge, but the difference is only slightly lighter than stock. Of course, that is based on just my "feel". High quality and reasonable ship time.
If you’re thinking about doing a little upgrade to a SCCY CPX model…. DO IT with the superior parts from M Carbo!! Chris and the crew have really done a terrific job with the parts/kits they sell. Parts are 2nd to none! What is even better, they have step by step installation videos. If you can turn a screwdriver, you can do the upgrades with no issues!! Chris walks you through the process and he passes on his expertise to you! It’s amazing how he guides you through the process!! I like the sccy pistol but the trigger was horrible. I saw mcarbo on YouTube did a video so I thought what the hell. I like the sccy for carry it’s a great size for it. The spring job worked out nice, not to soft and not to hard just right. Thanks mcarbo for the sccy spring set. I’ll be back for the fn509 and fns9 real soon.
The stock trigger pull weight was ok for me since this is for personal defense and not target shooting. That being said, the long heavy trigger pull certainly affects your accuracy greatly so I decided to try this spring kit. The trigger now functions so much more smoothly, it will be a huge improvement in accuracy. Quality parts and easy installation, great video support also.
After great results with the ruger LCP kit. I order the SCCY trigger spring kit. Results were a 4.8lb trigger from an 8lb trigger pull!! After viewing the installation video doing the job was a snap! Great product and support!
Installed spring kit. That was easy and straight forward. Parts looked good. But now I'm getting light primer strikes. With the same magtech ammo that shot just fine before the upgrade. YES the trigger pull feels so much better and I was able to be more accurate, but this is my truck gun , needs to shoot everytime. I will try different ammo to be sure. I hope it shoots the defensive ammo I have ordered. I have a recoil spring and your trigger coming. Hope it gets better I really did make this awful trigger so much better.
i installed the spring kit for cpx-1 it didnt work well, now after every shot i have to rack the slide as the slide locks open as if the magazine is empty. i also get ligh strikes causing failure to ignite. i wish i knew how to fix this as i really like the gun size shape and handling. can someone tell me what causes the slide to lock open as if the magazine is empty. and what causes light stikes causing the bullet not to fire

Installed last week, got to shoot it today. Ran 100 assorted FMJ and HP, no issues and a butter smooth 4.5 .lb trigger.
As the video says, it’s like night and Day and it is a significantly lighter trigger. The Pull is more consistent. Definitely recommend it. You will need the proper tools. It was a fun project. I haven’t done a lot of gunsmithing, but I do have the proper tools if you follow the video, it works great.
