As the video says, it’s like night and Day and it is a significantly lighter trigger. The Pull is more consistent. Definitely recommend it. You will need the proper tools. It was a fun project. I haven’t done a lot of gunsmithing, but I do have the proper tools if you follow the video, it works great.
Easy to install with great detailed video. So far so good with the springs. Very happy
I installed this SCCY trigger spring kit in my wife’s Cpx-2. It has turned a turd into a diamond! Seriously! It cut the abismal trigger pull in half! Excellent quality!
Easy installation thanks to the thorough instructions in the video! Dropped the trigger pull from 8.2 lbs to a smooth 6 lbs even.
I’m not the type to say I hate any firearm, basically if it goes boom, I like it! With that said, the CPX-2 was definitely one of the least favorite firearms I have ever shot. The trigger pull weight was terrible, and I would find myself shaking slightly on target when trying to be slow on the trigger pull waiting for the break. This trigger kit from MCarbo gets 10 thumbs up!!! The trigger pull is night and day different, the CPX is now much more fun to shoot, the groups are much better on target. Installation was easy, especially with MCarbos video as a reference. Love it, would buy this kit 10 times over. Highly recommend this for any SCCY owners.
This kid does exactly what it says it will. Lighter, smoother trigger pull, resulting in better accuracy and grouping. The only downside is that I actually had to admit that I was the problem when it came to accuracy, not the gun or sites. Will be getting a kit for my other CPX-2 as well as my S&W SD9 soon.
I love my cpx2 but hated the trigger pull over 9 lbs, bought this and in half an hour I had an all new pistol same long pull but now its a smooth pull not tiring my delicate finger at all.. buy it you won't regret
I am in the process of installing the spring kit and have completed the slide portion, but I am stuck at getting the frame disassembled. The two pins in the SCCY frame won't come out! I have bent one punch and broken another. I have soaked pins in lubricant. I have heated the frame. I can't get these pins out!
I find this website to be very useful in finding additions for my pistol that Amazon does not have. Furthermore, the website is accommodating and the products are easy to use. I dislike paying for shipping, as I get free shipping with Amazon Prime, but the authoritarian Amazon company has routinely lost shipments of, shall we say, a certain inherently political nature. I will order grips for my pistol one more time, then I am done with ordering gun accessories from Amazon.
Tutorial video is easy to follow and straight forward. Everything went together like a charm. I highly recommend you and your products!

It was a real pain to remove one of the frame pins. After the 3/32 punch could not get the pin out I went and bought a nail punch also and after a lot of pounding on the pin I got it to move then used the 3/32 pin punch to knock it the rest of the way out. Installing the springs was not too bad following the video. I was having a little problem with one of the springs and the local gunsmith wanted $70 to do a trigger job. I talked to the place I bought the gun from and they sent me to the guy they use who does some gunsmith work on the side so I could have him look it over and make sure I did it correctly. I dropped off the gun he called me 2hrs later and he was finished and he said he just took the trigger return spring out and put it back in and it worked perfectly. When I asked what I owed him he said $10 I was pretty impressed and gave him $15 for his time to make sure it was working correctly. Now the gun fires nice and smooth with about half the trigger pull I was very impressed with the Mcarbo kit and would recommend it to anyone who has the Sccy cpx
Highly recommend this spring kit for the cpx2. Trigger pull is now manageable for target work. Easy to install. (Be careful with the firing pin spring she wants to be free!)
I recently bought and installed this spring kit. Installing was easy and it makes a huge difference in accuracy. I would recommend this product .
Just installed the trigger spring kit, but haven't shot yet. I didn't measure before and after but the perceived trigger pull effort is significantly reduced. Well worth the money, also this is the first spring kit I've done and the how to video was very helpful and easy to follow. Took me about an hour to do the entire process, and does require some specialty tools. Overall, very worth it and can't wait to get back to the range to try it out.
The trigger return spring is too weak and wouldn’t reset the trigger without pushing it forward manually. I had to disassemble the gun again and use the original return spring. This trigger kit was very easy to install following along with the video. It greatly reduces the trigger pull weight. Makes the firearm fun to shoot. Overall I’m pleased with the purchase.
