Cut the pull weight in half and much smoother. Especially since this is my wife's gun, the light pull helped her tremendously. Should come factory like this.
Super easy to do following the video trigger feels so much better now and feel much more comfortable shooting it.
For anyone who has ever attempted to accurately fire a stock cpx-2 with the standard 9lb trigger pull this is a must have. This kit will drop it down to around 4lbs and make the gun usable.
This is a must if you own a sccy pistol. This spring kit was easy to install with great how to video support. It reduced trigger pull by 50%. Made shooting it about better. Thanks mcarbo. Super product
What's up guys ? Just installed the trigger upgrade in my CPX-2 . The install was a breeze and fun for the most part .....trigger pull around 4.3 pounds now with a nice reset. The only problem with the dis assembly was getting the pins removed from the chassis / polymer frame. It took a lot of hammering and bent punches to get the bitches out without damaging the holes . It looks easy in the video but it wasn't with mine! Anyway, I do recommend this trigger kit...It's the second one installed,the first was my AR and was even easier!

Finally got a chance to install the SCCY spring kit last week and started with the slide and not to much trouble replacing the firing pin spring. Next to the frame and apparently SCCY does't want you to take this apart because I could not remove the pin near the hammer. Stopped by my gun smith and it took him about 15 minutes and maybe a bigger hammer. Finished with the trigger and hammer springs that same night and all is back together. Have not shot it yet but the trigger pull went from 8 lb down to 6 lb. Not quite what Chris got but my wife likes it and maybe it will get better after some rounds are put through it. Thanks guys!
Good Lord above, the stock trigger on this pistol is as hard to pull as a toenail with your bare fingers. This kit fixes that with about an hour of your time. Excellent pull now, the pistol is now fun to shoot. The video doesn't cover CPX1 pistols, but if you have a brain and/or any mechanical aptitude, you should be able to figure it out.
Installed spring kit. Parts are good quality. Installation was a bit challenging. Very hard time removing frame pins. Almost gave up. Do yourself a big favor, buy the gunsmith block and punch kit. Wish I had. Once I got the frame pins out, the rest was ok, but take your time, it can be challenging. My gun was the CPX 4 with manual safety. Had to figure out how to remove the safety mechanism, it was not addresses in the install video. Trigger pull much better but have yet to actually fire the gun to see if it shoots well.
I had to buy a few tools but once I did the install videos helped alot. The pins that hold the polymer frame to the trigger assembly are a LOT more difficult to get out then it looks in the video. I had to hammer quite a bit to get them to start moving. Once everything was swapped out, the trigger works like a dream! Much better than it was before!
The stock trigger pull left me wanting big time. By adding this trigger kit I now have a completely different gun in a positive way. Trigger pull is perfect for a carry gun in my opinion. Considering how cheap the gun is this upgrade made a huge difference. I followed the youtube video step by step and with no prior experience doing any kind of gun modifications it went very smoothly. I will say punching the pins out was a bear, but doable. After taking the gun to the range I'm impressed with how much of a difference this trigger made. I cant say enough how much I appreciate MCARBO making this product for us.
This spring kit has turned my sccy into a new gun. Trigger is still long but not nearly as heavy. Video was easy to follow. Had fun. Thanks.
I bought the Sccy CPX 2. Found the trigger a bit stiff for a pistol. did some research on the interwebs. Found the how to video on this spring kit and other positive feed back. Placed my order, was given an ETA on delivery. It arrived a day early. Kudos to USPS and of course the fine folks of MCARBO. This product along with the video instructions, a child could perform this upgrade. I will recommend MCARBO to anybody I know looking to upgrade their firearms. THanks to MCARBO. Your video makes it all easy and possible for the novice. I have 2 cpx1's an it was a bit tougher to work on. I gave up on the first one as the frame pins did not want to be removed. Suggestion, you have added a new trigger for the Kel-tec PF9 parts which very similar to the Sccy, how about doing the for the Sccy.
I bought a SCCY CPX-2 9mm after reading several reviews. The only real complaint was the stiff trigger pull, which is also quite long. Thanks to M CARBO I don't consider the trigger a deficit anymore, just a safety feature. It is noticeably easier to pull, steady and smooth. It didn't shorten it any but that is the safety. You can't unshoot someone. I'm a firearms instructor, but not a gunsmith. The directions along with a video made installation surprisingly easy. I was so impressed I just bought a replacement spring set for my Ruger EC9s also.
