This kit has made my CPX-2 my favorite CCW. The trigger is much more finger friendly and easier to use when doing drills. The kit was easy to install surprisingly. Great job M*CARBO and fast shipping. Now you guys need to make a trigger bar.
That 8+ pound trigger pull is gone! The long stroke is fine now that the trigger pull is about half what it was. Installation video is excellent. Made the install a breeze. Another believer 😎
My trigger pull gauge goes to 8 lb and the indicator went past that before the sear broke. Guessing at least a 10 lb pull. The factory reset was iffy, so I left the original trigger return spring in place, for now. The firing pin spring and hammer spring went right in as shown on the M-Carbo install video.. Trigger pull is 4.75 lb. at the bottom of the trigger and 6 lb. in the middle. That is better than most revolver trigger jobs and perfect, since my primary use of this SCCY pistol is training new shooters. Thank you for a great product. F.G. Farrell
I've detailed this issue on their Facebook video and sent my issue to the help e-mail but no response after a week. Not exactly the customer service I would expect. My SCCY CPX-2 is an early model and has a different trigger return bar and spring so the kit spring won't fit and can't be modified to fit. I didn't know this until I had the gun disassembled and the first two springs installed.

This worked out beautifully! I'm not a gunsmith, not even close, so I arranged for a knowledgeable and talented friend to install these springs for me. When I first contacted him he told me he was not familiar with the SCCY and he was reluctant to do the project. I told him that you had put out an excellent video on how to install the springs. He then asked me if these springs happen to have been made by M.Carbo. When I told him they were, he jumped right on to the problem. He told me he'd installed many M.Carbo products and he loved the quality of the parts, the video support and the customer support he very consistently received from you. He eagerly did the installation yesterday and he and I were both thrilled with the result. He loved the reduced trigger pull (as do I) and I found my shot groupings have very significantly improved. I couldn't be happier and I sure appreciate what you've made possible for me. You have responded almost within the hour to every email I've sent you and you've checked in with me several times to make sure I was happy. I apologize for the delay in sending this review, but I wasn't able to get my friend to do the installation until yesterday. It was well worth the wait. Again, many thanks!! Doug
I'll be honest, I've never worked fine details in any firearm. I put this kit in a week ago. BEWARE if you own a newer SCCY they loctite the hell out of those frame pins! Needless to say, my frame has some battle scars. And the mcarbo gunsmith block is now cracked, broken, and falling apart. Cpx-1 owners, t-6 torx. Despite my struggle, scared frame, and a trashed gun block. The difference is incredible! I originally purchased this gun for my wife, but the pull made it hard for her to group consistently. Even I had mild finger fatigue going through a mag. It's now easily halved. Easy pulls with a smooth drop, making for great groups. It really makes you question why SCCY doesn't go with these springs to begin with. It's literally the best $25 you can spend to completely transform a gun.
Got same SCCY's in my shop and installed them with the new guns. The customers loved them. They preform as described and the install vid is one of the best.
I did my research before purchasing my sccy. Very easy to do and a very big difference on the trigger pull. Good product, very happy.
On a SCCY CPX-2RD I installed this spring kit along with a galloway precision hammer & trigger kit. This is a good combo. The trigger & hammer kit shortens the trigger pull and reset distance by 50%. The MCARBO spring kit makes the pistol pleasant and manageable to shoot. The stock springs were much too stiff and the gun was painful to fire repeatedly.
Great trigger upgrade. Liked it so much I ordered a second one for the other cpx2 we have. Super easy to install with pretty basic tools. Easy to follow instructional video. Awesome value.
I purchased this kit and it showed up really fast. I have sense installed it and thanks to their video it was very easy to install... Parts all fit perfectly and the change in the pistol was amazing. Thank you guys for providing quality products.
The M*CARBO parts and tool kit enabled me to take an economy pistol and turn it into a pretty good one
Tried this to see if it would help my aim and it's worth every penny. Anyone who owns a SCCY knows the 9+ trigger and with this kit it went down to 4.6 !!! Wow big difference and now I'm not pulling right of target and hitting constant groups plus my finger doesn't get pinched in the guard and with the Installation video Mcarbo has I had noooo problems with install..Good job and thanks for your service..if i ever need a product and Mcarbo has it I will purchase it..
Perfect fit! Everything went together nicely. Cut the pull weight down by half makes the gun feel amazing! Shipping was stupid fast and customer service is excellent! Will definitely be doing business with these guys again!
This spring kit has drastically improved my CPX-3! Easily cut the trigger pull weight by 50 percent. $20 well spent. This is a quality kit. The install video is very thorough. I put it on par with my Kahr pistols as far as the lightness and smoothness of the trigger pull. Thank you MCARBO!!!
