I would like to start with the fact the MCarbo Team lives up to their pledge. They not only delivered in a timely manner they kept giving updates on the shipment. As for the Ruger PC Carbine A2 Tool Steel Bolt Head Pins & Extractor Pin Kit it functioned as described. They went in well and I look forward to years of carefree shooting. Great products, Great company.
After several thousand rounds, the factory extractor was getting iffy and the pins were working loose. Bought the pins and extractor and the ole girl is running like new again without having to send her back to the mothership.
I decided to upgrade these parts when I replaced the factory extractor. They are apparently high quality parts which mirror the factory parts in fit.
Just installed the Pin Kit along with all the other internal upgrades. Great replacement for the inferior stock pins. Super easy to install watching the excellent video by M*Carbo.
I replaced the OEM pins with these new pins. They should last much longer since they are made with better materials and look better machined.
I would even hazard to say that after seeing the quality that these are necessary to help prolong my carbine's life. Installation was much easier with the video from MCARBO.
I got my Ruger PC about a years ago. It’s had about 300-400 rounds through it. After seeing on YouTube reviews how extractor issues occur, I decided that it’d be wise to fix the problem before it presented itself. After watching Mcarbo’s videos, it took me about 5 seconds to replace my extractor with the new one. While I was in there, I replaced the extractor pins and the shock buffer. My old eyes ain’t what they used to be so I couldn’t see wear on the extractor but the buffer and one of the pins already had wear. And since I can’t see so well anymore, having pins simply fall out is an issue. I like the idea of things holding together. I hate finding little parts in my lap when cleaning a weapon.
I ordered this upgrade along with the extractor upgrade because of stove piping right out o the box. Bolt pins already showing wear so this was a goo decision. This gun is definitely hardened now for repeating use.
I have installed the ruger pc carbine trigger spring kit, heavy recoil spring, bolt pins and extractor. Today was my first day at the range with no malfuntions thanks to those upgrades. Amazing quality products from mcarbo. Keep up the good work. Must have for anyone with a Ruger pc carbine

Pin's worked really well. i noticed little to no wear after a couple hundred rounds. You could see wear on the stock pins with the same amount of rounds,a lot of wear.
Buy this with MCARBOS upgraded extractor, nice upgrade

These pins are a real improvement over the stock ones. I could really see the difference between the new bolt head and extractor pins from the old ones. The old ones were already starting to show wear after a year's use. Get the new pins! Worth it! Do it!
