I installed these pins along with M*Carbo's extractor in my Ruger PC9 rifle in order to cure ejection problems. problems fixed
Placed order for pin set and extra power recoil spring for Ruger PC 9 late on 11/4, arrived early mail on 11/9. Well packaged Haven't sat down to install yet but have reviewed both excellent install videos. It's great to find parts you want / need without having to send the entire gun back. Will order from M*CARBO again.
what an incredible change in fit over Ruger stuff... I am impressed!
Dropped one, found its way into a black hole someplace naturally, and needed a replacement ASAP. Ruger didn't have any, but MCARBO did and had them to me in a few days in the middle of a world wide pandemic, now how's that for service!!!
I decided while I was replacing the extractor and the buffer and spring I would install these as well. Not much to say they look like quality parts that fit well and should last much longer than the stock ones. Thank you, Scott

I purchased this part and installed it in accordace with the video by the President of Mcarbo. Although it is very stylish don't let it fool you. It took me about a month to get out to the range after installation and right away problems. The bolt would not hold open on the last round and would only fire one round at a time while having to chamber every round. I emailed and called Mcabro several times "NO ONE HAS REACHED OUT TO ME BY PHONE OR EMAIL". I took the gun to a gunsmith and was still having the same problem until I reinstalled the original Bolt Head Pins & Extractor Pin and it's all working as perfectly normal as before. The take away from this is everything that looks good/stylish is "NOT".
Ordered 6 upgrades, They were delivered fast and they are very well made. Install was easy. After 350 rounds no issues and can tell that these upgrades made my PC9 operate more reliable, Great job M CARBO and thank you for a truly Quality product.
I had not even shot 200 rounds through my PC-9 Carbine. But, when I took the OEM pins out, they did show signs of marking and wear. These pins should stand up to the wear much better, and provide good reliability for this firearm!
Thank you for such wonderful and well engineered parts ….. parts that give me a much improved sense of reliability with the PC9.
No reason not to replace with these well built head pins. Be sure to use the M-Carbo S.S. Spring Retainer!
These pins are an exact match to the stock pins as far as for goes, but much higher quality. My old pins were completely beat up at about 1k rounds and these should last a good bit longer.
Recently purchased a PCC and after reading all the reviews immediately purchased the trigger, recoil spring, and tool steel pin kit. Installation was very easy and made easier by the easy to follow installation videos. If its' your first time through the Ruger, then I whole-heartedly recommend having the video up on your laptop, computer, etc. when you are doing the installations. Thank you Chris and all the folks at M*Carbo! Will update after I put more rounds through my carbine.
On my 2nd set since I dropped one at the range. Mental note: pack magnet in bag! The first set were in for several hundred rounds and had zero deformation or any visible sign of stress
I purchased a set of these pins and after a couple thousand rounds, one (bolt head pin) broke. Didn't stop the gun but there were chips in the action. M-CARBO advised I got a set with bad heat treatment and immediately sent me a new set, no charge. Great service but only time will tell if the new set holds up. I give MCARBO five stars for service. If these new pins preform as advertised, they should get five stars as well.
Ordered a couple parts, was easy. They shipped quickly, properly packaged, arrived undamaged. THATS ALLREADY BETTER THAN MOST! Parts look nice, sure they will work great!
