Thank goodness for youtube. Mcarbo was unable to give me installation instructions but there was a youtube video that explained the process. I am disappointed because it seemed to make very little difference between the muzzle brake installed and the muzzle brake not installed. Kick is the same and the gun still moves the same amount of distance.

Customer Service at MCarbo is Legit! Received in 4 days from order and product was as good as described. Even gave me a QR Code to view installation video (if needed). Not really an off the shelf item at retailers so appreciated them having stock. Plus would rather support the little guys. Will use the muzzle brake on other 9mm Carbines for sure.

This Muzzle Brake is just perfect for my FPC It was easy to install and it really looks great, Please don't go by the you tube video on how to install it, because it does not have to be tightened 3 full turns. My Muzzle Brake only needed 3/4 of a turn with the crush washer and it was ready to go. I don't know why the installer in the video had to tighten the Muzzle Brake 3 full turns against the crush washer, but don't do it or you might end up with a crushed barrel and not know it which could be very dangerous when you go to shoot it. This is a great addition to your M&P FPC. Not only does it look good, but it really does diminish the recoil and makes it a lot quicker to reacquire your target. I honestly wasn't expecting a whole lot of improvement in the performance of the gun, but was pleasantly surprised. Now that being said, the installation was a lot more difficult than I originally thought it would be. I ended up having to completely remove the handguard so I could get a good bite on the barrel to torque this bad boy on. Normally you might think that's not such a tough job, but apparently Smith & Wesson hires retired Circus Gorilla's to crank down the 16 screws holding the handguard on and that turned into a story for another day :)
