I bought 2 of these extended charging handles, one for myself and one for my 70 year old dad. Right away I could feel the difference it made on my 9mm Sub2000. My dad said ''this handle makes a world of difference'' on his 40S&W Sub2000. Two very satisfied customers here.
This handle makes it so much easier to use the gun overall! Should be a factory part. Took me quite a while to get it on, but I eventually got it done. Your instructions are invaluable.
I chose the double finger extended charging handle (with No pads). I'm really pleased and it's super easy to swap out.

My stock charging Handle had broken off after a match and I didn't realize it until I started to clean it. I had another match the next day and called Mike to see if I could get any handle they had by the next day. He tried his best but it took two days. I really had no opinion on the stock handle one way or the other. You griped it and pulled it back. But I must say the extended handle does make the process much smother. If your not happy with your stock charging handle I highly recommend one.
This works marvelously. I had this for approximately 5 months when it broke off in the bolt. I called and they let me know that was a batch that had this problem. 5 days later I had a replacement at my door at no cost to me. Great folks to work with.
This is a fantastic upgrade, especially for someone with compromised grip strength. BUT, would it be possible to manufacturer this thing without the little screw/pin. Having to drop that in, attached to the end of the screwdriver, even with the suggested grease is really difficult. Kind of like threading the needle. Even though I have a ton of screwdrivers, had to purchase one that was "just right", but still is tough... the thing falls off, and it takes about 4 times to "nail it". Again, love this handle, but would love it a lot more if it was one piece. Thanks !
The stock charging handle made it very difficult for me to lock back my Sub 2000. This double charging handle has made my Sub 2000 more usable and much more comfortable. Because of the stiffness of the recoil spring and the resultant struggle with the stock charging handle I started to regret my purchase of the Sub 2000. Thank you MCarbo for making me a happy Sub 2000 owner. Love the charging handle covers too, by the way. Next purchase will be the trigger kit. Glad I found MCarbo.
Can't compliment this company and its products enough. The quality is great and the videos they provide to help you install it is great. The second finger slot on this makes it easy enough now that people that couldn't load a round can.
The is a comment on customer service at M*CARBO. I had an issue with this product after firing about 300 rounds. Sent an email concerning the problem. I received a response, literally, within minutes and the part was replaced. I've rarely seen customer service this good anywhere.
I needed the longer charging handle. The stock one is terrible and when I choked up on the handle I'd give blood. Once you convert the buffer spring, you're golden. But converting the buffer spring is a hassle. I did it based on the video, but then it occurred to me I could just crank down the spring more with the Allen key and that would have saved my hands a lot of bother. Once the spring is converted you never have to do it again. I wish it just came with a new spring. That would be a good option instead of converting it.
The double finger is a necessity! So much easier on the pull.

When the original charging handle on my sub-2000 broke I knew what to do. I had been thinking about getting this extended charging handle for a good while and now I had a reason to do it.
