I have both the heavy weight buffer and the 2-finger buffer and I like the 2-finger buffer better. The recoil spring is stout, so the ability to use two fingers to actuate the charging handle is great. Much easier to charge the rifle this way.
Like others, I didn't like the stock charging handle of the Sub 2000. This is like night and day. Super easy to grasp with two fingers. Installation took literally 3 minutes (I added the recoil buffer while I was at it). Great product.
Installed the charger handle. No to bad changing the locking pin.
I am handicap only have about 30% use of my right hand and it was still pretty easy To install with a little help from my wife works great makes it so much easier for me to rack My rifle thanks a lot I’m mcarbo you guys made it so much easier for me to shoot thanks again
A good, well made product. My handle is the plain black chrome one and it is well made and finished. This does make working the bolt faster. With the grip in my right hand I just hold the bolt and push the right hand forward and slide the handle into the lock position. It is long enough that I can push the charging handle out of lock with my forearm while aiming the S2K. Very quick. A good product.

The Extended Charging Handle is without doubt the most user friendly accessory I have purchased. It makes racking the charging handle so much easier. If you have any weakness in your hands, this accessory is a must have. Order it NOW.
Once completed the charging handle is a lot more comfortable. Once you do the initial spring compression, then push down on the provided tool to compress the spring more and insert something else like a small screwdriver. By compressing a second time it makes it very easy to install the locking pin onto the spring.
Bought my daughter a Sub2000 to start using and practicing with. Being 12yrs old, she was having trouble pulling the charging handle back and locking it into place. I came across these double finger charging handles from Mcarbo and figured I'd give it a try. As an older shooter my hands are not as strong as they used to be, this upgraded, American made, quality part is a must have. It's more ergonomic, and allows for more force to be used while eliminating slipping.
I just did a review on the full trigger and release lever upgrades kit, saying it was one of the best upgrades I've ever done on a gun. For the actual operation of the gun, this is another "must do." After comparing the function and operation with both levers, I'm never going back to the original, as this is a crazy awesome upgrade...it allows more force to be put into throwing the bolt group backwards by providing more positive surface grip area to grab. I would bet Kel-Tec will take note and change the design in the future. I'm glad to have all the parts come in one order, as I changed everything at once.
This add on is the best choice I made. Makes shooting way easier.
My Wife and I enjoy shooting and we purchased the KelTec since it is better suited to my wife's smaller stature. The standard charging handle is difficult to pull. We purchased the two finger charging handle with handle covers. The upgrade was worth every penny. The new charging handle is much easier to operate. The video made the upgrade easy if you are hardly with tools. This is a great upgrade to the KelTec
I already have a MCARBO trigger and trigger spring set - and highly recommend them. When I saw this I had to have it. It really makes a huge difference. As others have noted it does n make the carbine much easier to handle for my aging fingers and it really cuts down the time that it takes to deploy the weapon. A great addition. As always, the customer service was superior.
Excellent, I went shooting today and thought I died and went to heaven every time I used it. I got the one with the two sleeves and happy I did.
