Great product! Worth the money and time to install. It makes it much easy to release the magazine over the stock unit. The bigger hands will love it, or even normal size hands. Built with toughest.
I loved my SUB2000 at first, but adding the whole MCARBO upgrade line takes it to another level. I bought the whole line, screws, trigger, trigger guard, springs, and the mag release. It all works together perfectly to improve the weapon.
This mag release is a much better improvement over the original Glock mag catch. Chris always had good tips in his videos, like grease to keep the spring in place, that really was the only issue, but once all snapped together the mag release is a 100% improvement. Comes with "All in one bundle" so if you are thinking of replacing a bunch of parts all at once, get the bundle!
The factory release is small. This is a great upgrade. Only wish it were metal.
The stock one, I had to adjust my grip a bit to drop a mag, now I can easily do it with a normal grip. Also now my wife can do it, she had a hard time with the stock mag release button. Empty mags also now easily drop free.
It's hard to see what Kel-Tec was thinking with the factory mag release, especially once you put this one on. I felt like I always needed to look at my hand just to see if I was pressing it well enough or not, but even if this one wasn't extended, the nice flat surface is noticeably more tactile, with a positive feeling of release.
Im really liking the extended mag release. I got mine in the lowers upgrade kit and it says Glock on the option but I have not had any issues using other brand magazines with this release. Working just fine.

This new magazine release has given me an edge with the reload. Thanks M*Carbo for the excellent products and the easy to follow instructional videos that have proven to be essential for parts installation. Grate job team.
It may stock out a bit but super nice
Added this to my already growing list of Mcarbo Sub2k parts. This is a great addition to the rifle as it makes mag change much quicker. You no longer have to move your grip to drop a mag. Works very well and simple to install.
The extended mag release really works well. It "sticks out" making it easier to use, but not so far that it interferes with your hand position on the grip. It's also easier to use as it's lighter sprung.
This is really a fantastic addition for the right-handed shooter. However, I can not reccommend it for the lefties. It is too easy to inadvertently engage while shooting, without significant focus and training.
DO NOT buy this if you are left handed! Since installing it has become an irritation. While with the stock release I would on rare occasions accidentally bump it, I learned to hold it just slightly differently and it wasn't a big issue. Now with the extended release I am CONSTANTLY bumping it and dropping the magazine. It is in the way. I bought the kit and it was included. I wished I had never installed it. Mcarbo should have a warning to left hander's in the product description.
Installed next time at the range. I dumped the mag every time I shot. Have to go back to factory.
I was shocked at the difference this little part made. Dropping the mag is much more natural and doesn't require breaking your grip. Worth every penny.
