Fits well. But honestly, it sticks out from the grip a little further than I like. I keep hitting it unintentionally and releasing the mag. I'll probably put the original back in. Quality part though.
Once again .. get all of the internals and swap out at the same time. Nice upgrade and once installed..it makes for a more comfortable transition when swapping out mags quickly. Just a cool addition to a weapon that just needs a little TLC.
I subtracted one star from this because I feel that it sticks out from the grip too much - by about 1/16" (0.0625") specifically. Having said that, the extended control works GREAT! I installed it while replacing springs, screws, posts, so I did more than JUST this part, but as will all Sub2K parts, installation is pretty simple. I would & have recommended these parts to friends & family.
This mag release was one of those things I didnt really NEED... I'm not doing fast mag changes with my Sub2K... but it was cheap enough I figured, why not. It installed easily and works exactly as described. After installing and using it I realized how much nicer it is to use than the stock mag release, not just for fast mag changes, but just for general use. Great upgrade part, especially for the money.

I ordered this when i ordered my trigger job and I'm glad i did. this was an upgrade i didn't know i needed. its so much more comfortable and easier to release the mag. great product!
Added this for the same reason I added an extended mag release to my Glock 27 40cal which I carried professionally for the last 15 yrs on the PD. Provides for easier reach, more positive manipulation and quicker reloads. All good things when the weapon is to be used in real world applications. In my current job I will be carrying both.
Took 2.5 seconds to install while I was simultaneously installing trigger spring kit. I now have the dexterity to release the mag without changing my hand position. Great idea! Just make sure that you don't lose that tiny little mag spring on the grip (when you separate the grip handles) that keeps tension on the mag release. Mcarbo accessories are spot-on.
Purchased the extended magazine release and couldn't be happier with it. Great product and 100% better then the factory version. Fast shipping from a great company. I also replaced the springs while I was in for this change. If you're looking at this review... just buy it already--it's that good!
Great product! I actually thought at first that it would interfere with my grip. It is way easier to use than the factory one.

Took the S2K to the range today with this installed. SO MUCH BETTER. This will give you the positive engagement you're looking for to drop mags effortlessly. Easy to install (especially if you just do it when you're doing a trigger spring job). Another great MCARBO product.
I purchased this bundle with the flat trigger, the double charging handle, and extended mag release. The installation was simple and quick; keep a magazine on hand and this will help to with the install. The extended mag release works well and allows for the grip to not be broken in a magazine exchange. The rigidity of this release is superb; you won't have any concerns with part breaking due in the created gap. Honestly I believe this is an unessential modification for an average shooter or if you have large hand, but if you shoot competitively or tactically it will be a welcome addition. Mcarbo is prompt and constantly in contact with you from the time of purchase; a service model more companies should adopt.
Just buy it, don't ask questions. You know you can't manipulate the stock release. This one works.
Just installed the new Glock Mag Release. It's another must have along with the extended charging handle! The new mag release is so much easier to to operate then the stock one, no more breaking my grip just to change mags. Well Done MCARBO!
