The new extended mag release makes the Sub 2k much more ergonomic. Like all of MCARBO'S accessories, it is a must have.
Was unsure of this one, but figured the money wasn't bad and I like upgrading my guns, so I ordered it and after getting it installed, it is a huge improvement over stock. Very easy to install as well and the video did a great job.

Got the kit plus this Extended Mag Release, one of the best upgrade you NEED to get since the stock is so small. Just get and stop thinking about it. You will not regret it at all!!!!

I didn’t think an extended mag release was needed but thought “what the heck, I am replacing all the guts anyway so do it while the gun is open.” What a difference it made...,quicker and easier to use especially since I am a lefty shooter. I love it.
All of the mods are purpose built, this mag release included. It's smooth in operation and makes the experience of quick mag release very seamless. Get one!

We installed this last week and it works perfectly, much better than the OEM mag release. So far every MCarbo product we've installed on our sub2k has been perfect and has improved the functioning and look of the firearm. I include this next part for anyone who struggles with installation. The sub2k is a fantastic firearm to shoot but the design is at best funky. On ours the screw inserts spun in the frame so not all the screws could be removed. And the collar just would not budge, must have been overtightened at the factory. We had to scratch it up by using vice grips. However, KelTec support is fantastic. We're fortunate that they're local to us so we've brought the sub2k there whenever we've run into the issues described above. They honored the warranty even though we took the firearm apart to install MCarbo parts and repaired it instantly. Between the great parts and support at MCarbo and the great support at KelTec even a frustrating disassembly experience turns out alright in the end.
If you have the standard KelTec Sub2K mag release you know it’s cumbersome at best. The M*CARBO Glock extension sure makes reflexive mag changes a breeze. The installation video makes it easy to DIY.
What a difference this made. I don't even have to change my grip to hit the button.
